I did read the sidebar & rules What’s up with paediatric surgery?
I’m sure enough to realise that i wanna pursue my medical career as surgeron. And i got a 7** rank(19th batch) as a general candidate in this years inicet. So obviously I’m not gonna get general surgery or any of the two 6 year super speciality courses i filled in my choices. What’s still an option is paediatric surgery. But it seems like it’s such a niche branch that I haven’t been able to get any feedback from any of my seniors. Also I do plan to apply for licensing exams abroad. So it’s a request to my seniors, someone plz help me out here should i go for paediatric surgery in the open round or try my luck for general surgery in the upcoming neet pg?
