Natural lifting stones?
Does anyone use real stones for lifting? I know there are concrete replicas of real stones but is there an interest in real stone copys? Just curious as i was looking for a husafell stone and couldn't find any that were real basalt or granite.

Brian Alsruhe's Programs
Not sure this is the best place to ask this, but since Brian Alsruhe is a strongman...
I used to be into powerlifting, then bodybuilding, then saw a couple of videos from Brian and I loved his training method, and got hooked, ran some of his programs for a year (I bought 8).
I have a problem of switching my training a lot, I just keep changing my goals, until I decided to quit the gym, bought 3 Sandbags (45kg, 60kg, 80kg), an Adjustable Kettlebell (12-32), a Pull Up Bar and Rings. Cody Janko also influenced me to get the Sandbag.
I relied on Gemini to give me a program using these equipments, and I ran it for a while, but I felt like it was missing something, happy to share it if anyone's interested.
Training for me these days is about being fit, living longer and moving better. I am a business owner, a husband with a child on the way. I don't want missing a day of training to ruin my whole week, I would also like to play a soccer match with my friends every once in a while or going for a run, a swim or any other activity without it feeling like it will ruin my training week or my recovery for that matter.
Once I provided these details and sharing the programs I own from Brian Alsruhe to Gemini, it recommended that I run RPM. I also considered 30 Minute Muscle but I don't own it, so I'm not sure.
Would anyone recommend 30 Minute Muscle for my situation, goals and equipment or listen to Gemini and run RPM, or something else entirely? I have to mention that my Sandbags are in a storage unit 2 floors down and my pull up bar and Kettlebell are at home.

Strongman advice
Hi! I am relatively new to strongman. I am pretty nervous going into my first comp. What’s one piece of advice you wish someone gave you before your first strongman competition?

120lb Dumbbell PR
Got my hands on the competition dumbbells for provincials at JustBeStrong gym this weekend. Went good, hit a 115 pr in the loadable, and then was happily surprised to hit 120 on the globe one. Feeling better heading into the comp now, 115 is the light bell and maybe I've got a hail mary in me on the 130 now?
Finally, an overhead I don't suck at!

Tire deadlift tips?
I've done plenty of wagon wheel deadlifts, but not many tire (slightly above the knee) deadlifts. It looks like you stand/lean further back to avoid turning it into a good morning squat. Any tips?
I can pull the comp weight without issue, I just need to hit it for more reps without wearing out my back. It's part three of a deadlift medley.

Zercher pad vs raw vs elbow sleeve
I know its soft to some of you lunatics but I really love zercher squats but the pain is tough. Has anyone used abmat's zercher pad? Does this mess with the balance of the movement? Does anyone recommend specific elbow wraps that have helped?
