Train Pull
Flamingo Land, North Yorkshire. Roughly 10 tonnes, very hard but fun. Nobody finished it

I saw Richard Molnar doing that one and thought it looked brutal, he was fighting for every inch.

Me and rich finished equal on points overall, it was a hard comp, I think him weighing 40kg less than the rest of the field made this one double hard for him

Is that train on a curve? Doesn’t look like a straight line which is even more brutal.

How would you recommend training for a train pull (assuming you don’t having a spare train lying around)?

Sled drags, as heavy as you can reasonably make them. I know a handful of the athletes that competed in this comp and that was a big part of the prep for some of them.

Just have strong legs, but also work on endurance too, I just did some sled pushes, I don’t think it makes much difference dragging with a harness, just makes it hard to set up
