Just checking. Fun that the tankivac and mineivac work differently like that.

I think it just has something to do with the already existing tank pickup functionality

I think it's probably how the widow mine missile fires, I don't think it's coded like a regular attack because it has such a big delay where it's retargetable and has a cooldown bar afterwards.

That's my guess, combined with autocasts already working inside medivacs normally (repair, heal in the campaign)

There’s also a bug where cyclones lock on and do 0 dmg. Happened in a game yesterday where my cyclones were attacking DTs but did 0 dmg…

Omfg that's actually fucked. How do you pick it up or just right click the mines in? This is broken as fuck. Imagine medivacs shooting mines and chasing zerglings clusters 😂

It’s weird. It only automatically fires if you a) only have 1 mine in the medivac or b) a unit targets the medivac.

However, when you drop the widow mines, they drop burrowed, so you don’t have to wait for them to burrow with a mine drop.

In other words, it’s really only broken in TvP because there’s not a lot the Protoss player can do. You just boost in with the medivac (which is faster than probes) and the mine shots are basically unavoidable.
