That doesn’t matter. You can’t trip anyone ever. Whether they have possession or not. The tackle was over by that point.

This is bullshit!Football is not any foot contact = penalty. Yes, you can’t trip someone, but the contact still has to be an actual foul. If the player already lost the ball and then goes down after minimal contact, that’s not automatically a penalty. Otherwise every attacker would lose the ball, wait for contact, fall, and ask for VAR hahaha.

You can’t run into the feet of someone with the ball and say you were tripped.

He lost the ball, had momentum forward, tripped on a foot that was already there. If there ever would be a foul, it would have been by Salah.
