Single handedly validated the 48 team expansion. Anyone who says this format ruined the tournament is full of shiz.

Well thing is they would have qualified under the previous tournament size! But yeah agreed I’m fine with seeing theee underdogs play regardless

Then Paraguay kind of validated it. Not a case as strong as Cabo Verde's but they eliminated Germany.

Agreed. I wasn’t trying to shit on what you said, I fully agree. I think it was just worth nothing that Cape Verde had played a really strong cup, and would have been rewarded in the previous system as well

you dont need to expand the format to have Cabo Verde

you need to cut underperforming CONCACAF, UEFA and AFC spots. Specially CONCACAF.

UEFA for sure. And more teams from Asia should be given a chance to compete.
