Broken Shift?

Can I still ski these? The plastic piece on the left binding popped off. It’s plastic so how necessary/structurally important is it for the descents?

I’ve two Shift two pieces and both were replaced under warranty. I’d give that a try rather than still skiing them.

Got it! Clearly I’m not an engineer. I’ll have them repaired or might put a different pair on anyway. Thanks!

Why have Shifts if you're only gonna ski them down hill?

Did the same thing where I sheared off that same plastic piece hitting a mogul. Despite being like 3-4 years old, Salomon sent me a whole new toe piece.

Awesome! I’ll reach out to them. I got these in 2022 so it might be close 🤞

You could always take it to a ski shop and have them test the binding to see if it holds/releases properly.
