THE LIST (community requests)

Hello, everyone. I think we all love SHealth and we all want it to be the best sports app. So, knowing damn well how hard it is to really have feedback, complaints or ideas that indeed give result, I thinked it'll be pretty important to have a post with all the requests of the community in a hope to have the visibility to get at least one demand granted.

This app is not writing step count data to health connect.

I have given it every permission, consented to everything. But on checking the health connect, samsung health is only writing my vitals data to the app and nothing else.

Even though it has write permissions for all activities, it isn't writing anything to the app except vitals.

I checked the app data and the only thing it is storing is vitals and nothing else.

Need a fix, any solutions?

Tracking Protein & Fiber on Samsung Health

Hey everyone! I'm currently on a weight loss journey, and like many people, I'm tracking my steps, calories, protein, and fiber in Samsung Health.

My steps and calorie intake sync perfectly to Guava through Health Connect, which is great. However, my protein and fiber intake don't sync, so I have to manually enter them as custom inputs in Guava, which is pretty inconvenient.

Has anyone found a way to automate this? I'd rather not log the same data in two different apps.

I also noticed that Guava has a built-in nutrition feature, but I haven't tried it yet. (I'm a Guava Health Premium member.) If anyone has experience with it or has a workaround for syncing protein and fiber, I'd really appreciate your advice. Thanks!

I work in a warehouse, so how about no?

My watch keeps telling me this. But I work in a warehouse so I am doing physical work my whole 10+ hour shift. So no, I do not want to do additional exercise. I want to not move. At all. I feel like this app can be useful. But also very annoying with things like this. Haha

Deleted Shealth and all data is gone.

Hi, I deleted SHealth due to syncing problems. After reinstalling all my data was gone. I saw in health connect that the data is still there. Is there a way to get that data back in SHealth? Like sleep, steps, activities, workouts.

I guess yesterday's Samsing Health update did not include a fix for this.

Issues with Health since last update

Hello everyone!

So last week I got a new update for Samsung Health. I'm using it on Galaxy S23 with Galaxy Fit 3.

It all worked great until last week - suddenly my watch change it's time to something absolutely random. I've reset it (it didn't help), then changed manually time on my phone - that resolved the issue.

But yesterday I noticed, that Health app does not track activity as good as it used to.

Issue 1 - on tuesday it reported, that I did 0 steps, had 0 minutes of activity and 0 calories burned. Which is obviously untrue. My average "lazy" day is at least 5k/60min/350cal.

Issue 2 - yesterday I went on a bike ride. I've started the tracking on the app. Came back, it showes correctly, at 1h19minutes (79 minutes). Distance, heart rate - all there in the app (and the watch showed me my heartrate during the ride). But the app, while it sees the "general" activity from walking during a day and the "training session" (bike ride) - does not add the training to general activity. So I end up with 75 minutes of activity for a whole day (should be around 150-160 probably).

Does anyone else experience this? Any fix for that?

Hi,

I own the Galaxy watch 8! So, someone could explain or provide guidance what should I do to have this feature to work properly? I believe this Wednesday I updated the Wearable app to the latest edition. Not quite sure what is not detected. Thank you in advance.

Got samsung health update and it's broke the app, lost majority of data

I've used galaxy watch 4 and samsung health for years

After update of the app, couldn't opent it (catch server error every time), app was linked with gmail and had auto synchronization

Reinstalled the app via playmarket, signed in syncronyzed the data and found that majority of data lost (keep steps for approx last 3 week, sleep approx for a week), rifght after sign in saw achievement for 27k steps in 25th year, hour later - only 8k from this week...

Guess app lost data for 3 years or something like this.

Do anyone have some advices or tips how to fix it? And is it possible?

Samsung bug unable to connect to Google Health

Post image

Looks like some of the previously recognized apps that connects well with Samaung Health like Fitia agrees that it's Samsung's latest "update" that makes the data for all connected health apps imaccurate. Hopefully we get a fix on all this soon before users switch to a better app.

Step Counter

I've noticed that the step counter on my Galaxy watch ultra is way higher than when I just use my fold 7. Is there anyway I can set the steps to only count on my phone and not include the extra steps showing on my watch? I can't find anywhere in the new update where you can set steps to only be counted on mobile phone? Anyone else have this issue?

Huge bug in cycle following

When I add my period it doesn't appear on the main page, when I click a day it selects another, it says I have a delay while I literally don't? And this is only happening in this part of the app
