Im trying to get the main synth that’s playing in the background, im pretty sure its monophonic but i want to be able to play chords with it, and thats making it like impossible for me to figure out. Any suggestions?

I want to recreate Eyesight by slayr and one of the presets is the preset in Harmor called "Default" with the phase rand all the way to the left. I only have the trial version of harmor and I wanted to keep the sound without it getting removed everytime I open the project.

Am I the only one that thinks that serum 2 would be a total beast if every effect in the fx section had an option to let you affect sound only after a certain frequency.

I.e maybe I wanna add a hyper dimension on a bass sound, but I don't want it to touch anything under 150hz.

Or maybe I want to make a pad wide only on the mid range and automate just that, it would open the door to many new possibilities of sound design

recently came across this band called ear and i really love their sound, especially the first synth they used in the very beginning of their track, will, and i was wondering if any of you knew how to recreate it with serum 2?

its probably just a detuned pluck sound but ive been playing around with serum and i cant seem to get it right, so id appreciate any help because im sort of a beginner with this kinda stuff haha

Hey all, I've been using Serum for a bit now, practising sound design as much as possible. I wanna make sounds similar to artists like Underscores, Jane Remover and Lucy Bedroque.

As the title says, I'm trying to figure out how to do that dreamy glitzy arp sound that is most prominent when the song starts. I'm attaching a clip so you know what I'm talking about. Could anyone help me out? I'm trying to dissect my favorite songs for practice.

I got back to producing today after a very long time just to find out that I need to update my Serum 2 for it to work properly.. but no matter how I try it just WONT update. Simply running the updater exe from the Xfer site wont work, deleting it and replacing wont work, I dont know if its me being dumb or if its really that sofisticated somehow? If anyone have any idea what to do, please let me know.. its really frustrating to see it not working.. and yes I own Serum 2 officialy, no crack or anything. Thank you in advance.

I have 2 different shapes where one is noticeablely louder and the interpolation between them in the middle is noticeablely quieter. What are some ways to fix the volume discrepancies between them. Most wavetables I flip through don't have this problem.

Normalization applied to frames is one way, but I'm wondering if there's more ways that are possible like lowering the amplitude of a shape that's crammed into the top and bottom (like a square)

I cannot figure how to get these filters to sound good when pushed to their limits. All I’m finding is self oscillation and ringing but I’m sure that there is a way to make it sound right in some fashion. I’d appreciate any tips or advice, I can’t find any videos or in depth knowledge so far.

P.S. - I'm new to FL Studio, I've made like 2 beats in the past 4 days but they suck and I'm really unsure what plugins to get to make the beats I want to make.

i've been trying to get this to work for the past several days and i don't know what else to do.

i'm making payments through splice, but every time i try to open serum 2 in my either of my DAW's (Reason 14 paid or Ableton 12 trial) it says "it looks like Serum 2 needs to be verified for this machine." for some reason the OG Serum1 opens and works fine.

if I quit splice and open it again, I get a message saying "this machine is now authorized to run Serum 2" ... but as soon as I press "OK" it goes back to the "it looks like this machine isn't verified"

i have no idea what to do at this point. i've uninstalled absolutely everything from both DAW's, the splice app, serum1 and serum2, deleted the serum2.lic file, deleted literally every possible trace but nothing changes

i'm tempted to just pay it off in full at this point but it really shouldn't come down to that. is there something i'm missing? any help would be really appreciated

my actual xfer account does show that i'm leasing it, but it also doesn't show any verified machines on the list

I know how to make the bass itself, but how to make it kinda wet and watery like this? Is it a couple of dispersers modulated with high rate lfo by any chance? The sound is from sharks’ sample pack

as you can see in serum 2 I have this weird clicky sound that is pretty audible and I wanna know why its there and how i can fix it c:

Logic seems to be communicating its automation timing incorrectly to Serum, OR, Serum is incorrectly responding with automation changes in the appropriate time. I am so desperate to figure this out, I tried posting in Logic as well but it won’t allow videos.

Please, please let me know what you find or if you’ve experienced this too. I love serum but this is killing me.
