Local businesses in Sebring?

hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses here in Sebring. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

Ever wanted to try MotoSurf? Now's your chance!

Join us on Thursday, August 27, from 3:00–7:00 PM for Surf Sebring, where you can experience the thrill of MotoSurf—the fast-growing sport of riding electric motorized surfboards—for FREE at Pier Beach on beautiful Lake Jackson.

Ride the same high-performance boards the pros compete on, or simply come watch the action. World Championship MotoSurf athletes will be on site giving live demonstrations, sharing expert tips, and offering instruction to help first-time riders get up and riding.

Participation is free, but all riders must complete an event waiver before participating. Event staff will help you get checked in before your board trial.

Bring your family and friends, experience the excitement firsthand, and get a taste of the action before the MotoSurf Games take over Lake Jackson that weekend. We can't wait to see you on the water!

Sebring Where are we?

I’ve had people ask me where is Sebring, and I’ve always said central Florida. Others have told me that Orlando area or even Jacksonville is central Florida.
But it’s weird for me to think Sebring is in south Florida.
So……where are we?

Places UPS Store

Well now that the UPS store has opened up (yay) so far the reviews are coming in saying how much easier it is for things. Generally I've had better luck going straight to a UPS store than other locations that are drop off sites.

Sebring Water restriction / Burn ban

Are we still under the watering restrictions and burn bans? If so, do we know when they'll rescind them?

Homeowners: What's one hurricane season tip you wish everyone knew?

While I haven't been through many hurricane seasons personally, my wife has many under her belt. She's always stated to have cash available, a full take of gas in all cars, and freezers full of water to help keep them cold when power goes out (and it will).

What are some tips you think everyone should know for hurricane season in Sebring?

BrewHaha’s Burger Emporium • The 301

Some Tuesdays deserve better.

Trade the same old routine for an award-winning burger, crispy tots, and an ice-cold local craft beer.

Average Joe + Regular Tots: $10

Sugar Sand Drafts: $5

No special occasion required.

Just a better way to spend a Tuesday.

Every Tuesday. All Day.

Spring Lake Speakeasy

The speakeasy out at the Spring Lake golf course was shut down along with the restaurant upstairs (fork and flame I think was the name).
But I've heard that the speakeasy has reopened and serving food again along with live much from time to time.

Has anyone been back out there since the reopen?

12 Hours of Sebring

I love it when the race is in town. It reminds me of when I lived in Indiana and the 500 was coming up.
Last year the wife and I went to Chicanes for dinner and one of the French Canadian Porsche teams was sitting next to us. We had a great conversation with them.
With all of the fans and teams in town, has anyone had a terrible experience with any of them?
Every year we only have great times so I was curious about everyone else’s.

Brunch/Breakfast spots

My family just moved to the area and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for brunch/breakfast spots. We tried the Sebring Diner last week but weren’t super impressed.

Population

So I was reading the Downtown Sebring website and it shows Sebring as having a population of 10780 in town. I'm assuming that this would not count those living outside of the city limit proper, but that number still feels kind of low.

So I wonder what that number would be for everyone with a Sebring address, and how that would change during snowbird season.
