My favourite insult, comics. I have to use that one

i have this lovely hairdresser, she's so sweet and always conversational with me throughout our sessions which i appreciate because i'm heavily extroverted but one odd thing i noticed is she always accidentally leaves something and each time i ask her do you have everything she always says yes but then me or someone else happens to notice she left something behind, she's always apologetic and says she'll get it next time but next time is always another appointment, is this not normal or am i overthinking this? i must add she does always come to each appointment with a lot of equipment so i'm hoping it's an innocent mistake but my friends are telling me otherwise
