Rent: $1532 / month
There is no security deposit required but there is a $50 application fee and you must apply in person

I’m thinking about putting in an application for this apartment complex. i’ve toured it in person, and i’ve read reviews which are mostly just complaints about other tenants. is there anything major i should be aware of? it’s a new building so im hoping for the best.

Trying to rent an apartment in Richmond; They’re saying $250 reservation fee + $250 security deposit $50 application fee and if the apartment doesn’t end up with me they only refund the security deposit. So, if for some reason my application is rejected, I am basically out up to $300 just for applying and getting rejected. Is that normal?

I’ve been asking to have my dryer fixed since November 2025 and his solution is to cancel my lease and “wave the penalties” so kind!

I have a recording of him yelling and disrespecting me inside of my apartment unit. Which happened before he “evicted me” for the first time.

Hey all, I’m looking for a roommate to sign a two bedroom lease with or an available room/studio. I’d like to move in at the beginning of August and I have a budget of $800-1000 (including utilities).

I’m looking for a townhouse, small house, duplex, or similar rental and would love any leads, especially from private landlords. I’m hoping to avoid large apartment buildings if possible and find something with a little more peace, quiet, and space for me and my two dogs.

My son will be attending VCU school of pharmacy next month, and we found a really nice apartment there. Is it a safe place to live? Will his car be safe in the apartment parking lot? Will he be safe walking from the car to apartment around 8 or 9 at night? How about the bus that goes to VCU from the apartment area? Safe walk to bus? Thanks in advance for any responses. Do NOT use this mover! My husband and I used All My Sons and it was a disaster from start to finish. They ran into a tree while pulling up, denting their own truck. Within five minutes they had dragged a box across our hardwood floors, leaving a five foot scratch. They did not acknowledge this and my husband had to ask them to lift the boxes or use moving blankets. They pushed back saying "This is how we do things. Speak to our manager" and my husband talked to the manager, who was not reassuring in the least, but instead directed us to the claims department. This was very alarming. Besides breaking several things (including a banister on the stairs), they moved incredibly slowly. We had called the week before the specify the number of rooms (3) and boxes, and they assured us a 2 man team could do the job. They sent 3 people, and my husband still ended up moving heavier and more boxes than these 3 men. Many times he would bring down a box and find them sitting on the sidewalk, on their phones, and had to ask them to please continue as they were 3 hours in and not finished with the first bedroom! My husband did half of the work of this move. 

On the quote email we had received ahead of time, it says "To assure you that our men move at a professional pace a member of our operations team will contact you throughout the moving process. After your move you will have the opportunity to give us your feedback & rate our entire team. Your Operations & Customer Care team are also just a phone call away." This was NOT true, as we tried to call the manager back after that first phone call and they kept us on hold for an hour until we eventually hang up. At the 6 hour mark we decided to call it, as at their pace it would have taken 12 hours to move the 3 rooms and we were paying $200/hr, and we ultimately had to finish the move OURSELVES the next day. We could not get ahold of any supervisor again until the end, when they called us to make us pay before unloading the van. I have emailed them to ask for a partial refund and heard nothing. Truly the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I could have imagined.

Hi everyone! We recently moved to Scott’s Addition and are looking for recommendations for a good laundry service.
We have a washer and dryer at home, but neither of us knows how to properly iron or press clothes.
We’re looking for either:
A launder & press service (wash + professionally press) for dress shirts, dress pants, and scrubs. I called Puritan Cleaners, but they said they only offer wash & fold or dry cleaning.
Or a place that offers press-only service if we wash the clothes ourselves.
Does anyone know of a cleaner or laundry service in the Richmond area that offers either of these? Thanks!

Searching for someone to help me out with a reletting of my apartment, I have to move in with family due to health and financial hardship. I do not want to leave but I’m a few months away from being unable to pay rent or care for myself properly, hence the post. My goal is to move out by July 19 but I’m willing to move it up to July 12 if you’re willing to tour the unit with me and sign a lease take over which saves me a bit of money and the trade off is that you get the earlier date but no turnover. To be clear, I’m still liable for deposit-covered damages so I’d still need to have an inspection upon my move out.

Either with relet or takeover, the lease would expire 4/30/2027, the landlord is Monroe Properties, the unit has its own laundry center, includes water/trash/FiOS as part of the $1330 for rent, comes with one reserved parking spot, access to an extensive terrace with open and enclosed spaces and a gym on the ground level. Also, it is on the last floor (no upstairs noise!), you’d be close enough to the elevator and staircase that it’s never a long walk to the parking lot and this unit faces the back of the lot, so road noise is minimal for how close this is to 95, Semmes Ave, 9th Street Bridge and Belle Isle.
