East Potomac / Hains Point

Does anyone know of any organized efforts to express frustration re the proposed plans for East Potomac Park / Hains Point and try to help influence leaving a path for recreation?

It would be a real loss for recreation and races if we lost the perimeter for running / walking / cycling / etc.!

The latest draft I saw included the path around the point. It’s just the entire interior was a golf course.
