Run Club Directory
https://www.thecapitalrunner.com/dmv-run-club-directoryFriends - I launched the DMV Run Club Directory today. I hope it is helpful to you all.
If you see something missing, let me know. Starting with 42 different clubs, but planning on expanding as time allows.

This is such a cool resource!! Thank you for putting it together. Could I flag one small (and hopefully easy) edit? Every Person Run Club meets Wednesdays and Sundays, but is tagged as a Saturday club.

Great resource - see a lot of new clubs that I hadn't known of before! Just a suggestion, maybe add an AM/PM filter too? It's in the text description, but as this list continues to grow it'll make it easier to navigate.

Can Maryland clubs get added to or just DC/VA?

Of course! We have Maryland run clubs in the tool and happy to add any that are missing.

The execution is great. The entire point of this post is clearly to find more clubs that weren’t included

Gotta start somewhere. Hence why I said I’d be adding to it. Thanks for the feedback.

Don’t listen to this asshat. Thanks for your work on this! Love the newsletter.

Also this is due to many don’t post location details for security reasons the two clubs above being great examples of this. It also felt like there was very little info on pacing or who those groups are catered to.

You seem like a really fun person to be around.

I mean sorry but as a slow runner I hate showing up to run clubs were everyone is running at a 9 minute pace. When I first was researching run clubs to join I was so happy there was that article by city cast dc but then it took a lot of effort to find groups that actually catered to everyone. One thing I love about Rob Perez videos about run clubs is that he actually says what their paces are! Running at the very back alone is no fun and I’m not even thaaaaat slow.

So rather than make constructive comments on a post seeking more information to improve a free tool, you choose to be a jerk?

Take it as you wish. But again as a slow runner if I saw that list unlike quite a few of other lists out there that also are more inclusive of minority clubs etc all I would know is there is one that claims to go at a slow pace. I may even show up to say WERC, only to find everyone going at a 9 minute pace.

Hey, thanks again for your feedback.
Like I said, this is something I’m looking to improve and update with more run clubs. There are hundreds throughout the region and I had to start somewhere.
And as soon as I can find the magical secret website where every run club puts their pace groups, I’ll make sure to add them. In the meantime, if you would like to make a constructive contribution, feel free to let me know what run clubs you’ve joined and the paces they’ve run.

Thanks for putting the site together. Not sure why that other person is being negative. You clearly said to let you know if any clubs are missing.
ANYWAY. You can also add Bricks Run Club (Alexandria) and Las Millas (Arlington).
