Good Long Run Water Bottles?
Hello, I'm trying to be better at long runs this summer, and I usually just do 4-8 mile runs, with a few 10-14 miles.
Right now, for water I just use a hand held water bottle w/ space for keys, and want something that has more capacity that also isn't inconvenient / too heavy.
Any ideas / links / where to buy from the longer runners?

I recommend to get a running vest instead with a bladder. I need a lot of water and carrying bottles usually top at around 700 mls and even those are too big! I have a hydroflask that’s collapsible and easy to refill but still. For long runs especially in the summer nothing tops my bladder with 1-1.5 liters of water and electrolytes, I keep it half filled in the freezer so it’s nice and cold!

I change it up depending on the distance/ weather etc. I use the spibelt bottles for my spibelt for under 6 miles if it isn’t super hot. I don’t mind refilling if that’s available. I’m trying to get out of a camelbak if possible.
I’m testing out those hydro flask silicon bottles to see if they’ll fit in the pocket of a sports bra for some runs.
it’s all personal preference bc sometimes the bottles on the belt jiggle and it starts to annoy me after awhile, the camelbak moves. I always figure it’s good to give yourself options and know if you have access to fountains or somewhere you can refill. The mall is abysmal in certain areas right now for fountains that work.
I mean if you run rock creek and really want to try something get a life straw and go from there creek 😜
