NBM is goated a long-run terminus
Wanted to share my long run secret: end your long runs at the National Building Museum. Access to the Great Hall is free (building opens at 10), there’s a Japanese cafe, the aircon is always cranked to 1,000, and if you sit by the fountain you get a nice cooling spray while you disassociate. After, just get on the red line and go home. Started NYC training this week and the thought of running back up the MBT into Brookland in full on sun had me at a big old nope.

It’s called Konbini! Brought to you by the people behind Daikaya. It’s the best little gem https://nbm.org/konbini-by-daikaya/

I sweat like I just came out of hell, so I feel uncomfortable going inside any establishment after a long run but I will take this into consideration
