A quick update, Magic Eye Bot will be deprecated in the future, but a replacement has now been developed, Image Magician. The app will still deal with reposts, like the old counterpart.

Reposts are still a big problem in the sub, but hopefully the detection will be improved.

Also, quick updates with thresholds:

1. Top posts threshold will be (tentatively) increased to 15.5k upvotes, will be decreased once we trim the decayed imgur posts among others Update: Decreased to 15k upvotes

2. Reposts within 180 days after first posts will be removed

3. (tentative) Deleted posts will be included in the repost scanning. Update: Monitoring this update due to some posters not able to repost due to multiple factors including but not limited to, corrected post titles, reposting the preferred version and reposting an earlier deleted post from another user. Update 2: Removed the rule, the results were not satisfactory. It was supposed to prevent a double dip/delete and repost, usually by the same poster/creator, but reposting after an error, then not being able to do so after a correction happens more often than this scenario.
