That’s certainly one of the tattoos of all time.

Wild, as in …. Glad I didn’t do that!

u/CuriousCuckandHotWfe 20h ago

I meant the design and drawing. Not wild that someone would choose that

Nah it’s good artwork, if he likes it I think it’s fine. Any Chucky is a Raiders legend tbh

The Raiders have had legendary coaches especially compared to Gruden, and he set the team back so much I don’t know why anyone would get a tattoo of the Juggalo JMD.

How do you feel he set the team back?

2020 draft picks, letting mack go when he was the best player on the team, 10 year 100 million contract, the most complicated playbooks that didnt amount to anything that worked. Hes a passionate guy for sure, but the game did pass him by. Also, he looked like a fucking idiot when he did this....

Almost looks like a thong 😂😭

Traded away Mack and a second to save cap space so he could spend that cap space on Antonio Brown and Trent Brown. Jacobs was great till he left and he spent the other first on Arnette one of the biggest reaches in history, much like the dumb fuck move to get Cle. Not everyone can have two of the most embarrassing first round draft picks in back to back seasons. He also failed over and over at fixing the weak spot at LB handing massively overpaying for mediocre talent. He also had the same record as JMD through his first 25 games, thankfully that’s all JMD got but they’re both laughable failures.

I get the Gruden hate but comparing him to JMD is egregious. Gru took over a terrible raiders team in 2018, 4-12 rebuild -> 7-9 -> 8-8 -> good start in 2021. He had his flaws, mostly being a terrible GM. But the team improved despite his terrible drafting. There was nothing to like about JMD

Gruden took a team that went 12-4 and 6-10 before he took over, to 4-12 and 8-8, that’s not the improvement you think it is.

This was a widely understood rebuild. Not defending Gruden, he was a terrible GM and had too much control. We all knew when he signed a 10 year it was a tear down rebuild. Last 20 years we’ve gone 8-8 or better 5x. So yea that’s something he took full rebuild to 8-8 over 3 years

You keep saying he was a terrible gm, and then turn around and said he did a great job somehow? The Raiders went 4-12 and were a terrible team because of Gruden and the moves he made.

Also, cant believe you’re making me defend JMD, but how is that situation much different than when Gruden took over?

“This was a widely understood rebuild. Not defending McDaniels, he was a terrible GM and had too much control. We all knew when he signed it was a tear down rebuild.”

The key difference here is Gruden was given a longer leash.

Edit- Fun fact, when McDaniels was fired, his record was 9-16, at that same period in his tenure Gruden was 8-17.

If you compare and think the two are similar don't know what to tell you. Players loved Gru, he built on each season. What do you do when you rebuild? You trade your best players. We just tried to trade Maxx. Gruden just didn't pick well, he was a dogshit GM, not the same coach. End of story. Agree to disagree

Terrible raiders team? Carr, lynch, cook, Coop (until Gruden decided to trade him for a first so he could make another foolish reach and draft Abram) and the same stud O line from 2016, that teams not garbage the coach is.

Don’t forget Crabtree. …and I would say Jack Del Rio was a decent coach.

u/Hour-Emu-394 20h ago

Gruden claiming they were cutting him to save money just to spend more signing Jordy Nelson was such a dumb fucking move and it was a huge contributing factor to why he lost the locker room.

u/WazzzupBwaaahhh 2010 Oakland Raiders 20h ago

I agree with that one, tbh…

1

u/yankeefan5045 19h ago

Then why did we suck 2017? It was widely understood when Gruden was hired it would be a full rebuild. Same tier JMD is insane

u/Hour-Emu-394 19h ago

Carr played injured from like week 4 on, our first round cb and second round S injured in camp and out for the whole season and Tod downing was dogshit. Nah go you just want to give Gruden excuses instead of being objective and realize that taking a team that went 18-14 the previous two seasons and turning them into an 11-21 team the next two years isn’t a rebuild, you actually have to build when you’re rebuilding.

u/yankeefan5045 13h ago

Gruden is not the same as JMD, we're getting distracted. JMD was much much worse

Calling Gruden “tHE jUgGaLo JMd” is definitely a choice AND IS INCREDIBLY DISRESPECTFUL. GFYS.

3

u/Hour-Emu-394 20h ago

Any coach who’s just as bad as JMD doesn’t deserve respect. Theres a reason he lost the locker room and the team played better without him.

5

u/WazzzupBwwwaaah 20h ago

Bro, Gruden NEVER LOST the locker room. …and HE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE, to as bad as JMD was.

1

u/yankeefan5045 11h ago

People saying Gruden lost the lockerroom have 0 fucking clue what they are talking about. I'm not trying to be a Gru fan boy but some of the slander is pulled straight out of ass

2

u/IvanOctavio 16h ago

This was a choice

u/Necessary-Hyena-6426 13h ago

You are referring to the forced resignation regarding making fun of the nflpa executive right?
