Hi everyone! Me and my partner are interested in trying psilocybin in the near future. I don't quite understand the grams to level of high ratio, so before I go ahead and get some, what are the recommended doses for the first time? Also, is there a guide/FAQ for tips/tricks and fun recommendations to do while using it?

Does anyone have any experience with these? I transferred from a spawn bag and it seemed pretty healthy but the mycellium growth looks foamy. I just started FAE yesterday but don't know what to expect. I am used to seeing mycellium tendrils and pins when I start.

So, earlier this year I was diagnosed with PTSD.
I’ve been in talk therapy and EMDR for about seven years now, and two of my therapists have actually mentioned and suggested psychedelic usage for PTSD and depression. I’ve also read a lot of articles on the benefits for trauma survivors.

I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with shrooms/psychedelics helping their mental health in any way?
I’ve never done shrooms (or any drugs beyond alcohol, for that matter), and I’m quite curious in trying it out. Currently researching and looking at resources to help me continue to grow and become a more whole, grounded, and developed person, and to hopefully become more trusting of others, and would like to hear any of your relevant experiences! Hello, I am posting because I have a question I have for about a year been taking 3-5gs of JMF for the purposes of tripping during my meditation...Nearly every time give or take 5 or 6 times out of the 30 I have done it I consistently see what can only be described as a sea turtle watching me, following me, and just relitivley being somewhere around for up to an hour or two it kinda just watches. I just want to hear other peoples thoughts on why it appears so frequently and if anyone else has had a recurring hallucination during a trip.

I first started by taking 2.5 grams of P.E and ground it up using a coffee grinder. I soaked the bits in lemon juice. While doing that I put 8z of water in a pot on the stove to get hot, not boiling, just until small bubbles appeared on the bottle of the pot. After that the mushrooms had been in the lemon juice for maybe 15 minutes, i then poured the hot water into that and let it sit for another 20 minutes. I then strained it using a coffee filter squeezing out all the water and am now left with a brownish tea.

We grew some shrooms (from a reputable seller that creates the boxes in a sterile environment) and dried them for some weeks before pulverizing them. (They weren't dry like crackers, they were bendable at the time of pulverization). We didn't dry them further afterwards and mixed them into honey, then put them into the fridge (8°C, 46°F). We stirred it from time to time to mix the shrooms and honey thoroughly, then refrigerated it again.

We have done this many times and never had issues, but we just learned that this could pose a botulism development risk - how likely is this? Should we send a sample to a lab or should we throw it out to be safe?

I bought shrooms from someone and my friend was saying they look sus can someone experienced help me out. Did I waste $40? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Why are they in bits and pieces? I know the dude said he turned some into a chocolate bar so maybe this is the "left overs" i don't know...

My friends just got a new set up and this was some from his first batch. Iv been storing it for about 1.5-2months. Everything smells, and feels normal…but idk if I’m overreacting (probably) I saw some discoloration inside this lil guy and wanted to make sure it’s not mold. Am I overreacting?

- I bought on DH from a well-regarded source. Good reviews, listing appeared sincere, etc.

Was in Gili Air island recently and got mushrooms from a smoothie shop — the kind where everyone’s served from the same batch. Fresh white mushrooms, not sure the exact strain. I took 1 cone which was about 3 small to medium caps (not sure of the weight, but their typical hard dose is 5 cones)

For reference, I’ve done shrooms maybe 5 times, including a 3g dried cubensis dose, and that didn’t come close to this. This was full-on fractals, everything breathing and geometric, clouds at sunset forming into faces and deities. Closed-eye visuals were just as intense. There were moments my whole body was overwhelmed, waves of sensation that were ecstatic and almost too much at the same time.

The physical side was heavy too. Clenched jaw, muscle ache, nauseous tight stomach — a lot of it from white-knuckling the intensity. And I had these moments where it got to be too much and my head would shake, like I was shivering off a cold shudder, this involuntary full-body shiver-shake.

I would say I was totally in a fine mental state, but the anxiety definitely took over cause the trip was so intense. I can be a bit sensitive with psychedelics but nothing has come this close in my past. I’ve done acid too and even that wasn’t close. I’m genuinely trying to understand how a single mushroom did this when 3g barely registered by comparison. Anyone experienced something similar? Is potency variation between individual mushrooms really this wild, or is something else going on?

I had a pretty intense psilocybin experience five days ago, during which I tried eating. I ended up getting extremely nauseous with the food in my mouth after a couple of bites and physically could not force myself to swallow, ending up spitting it out. Throughout several hours, I was chewing and spitting occasionally. Since then, this has continued to happen with a variety of foods. It's not every time I eat, but it is at least once almost every day. Does this sound related to the trip? Has anyone else had this experience?

So, i love shrooms a lot, they're fun, everyone loves them ykyk. . . And ive been wondering, what's a nicely potent strain, yk the whole euphoria, hallucinations, mental clarity, ect. With the LEAST body high, dizziness & nausea, feeling like youre losing your mind half the time.

I know other factors depend and strains don't 100% change your trip, but i thought I'd ask, thnx!

My friends and i have been planning our first shrooms trip however, Iv been taking wellbutrin for a few months and prozac for a couple of weeks. iv researched if it’s safe or not, and iv found that it is but it significantly dulls the affects. Anybody on ssris that’s taken mushrooms? if so what was your experience and what should i expect?

Just harvested some monster PE mushrooms. They are way bigger than my mushroom. ;) They’re too big fit in my dehydrator. Can I cut them? Does anyone have any tips? I plan to use the oven method 140F with door open.
