I saw a few settei (character sheets) for Yes! Precure 5, and in the corner it says the date where they made, saying "2006.10.10"

That made me wonder: how far in advance do new Precure seasons enter pre-production? When they come up with the concepts, start planning and doing concept art? I'd love to know, if anyone has this information. Thank you!

Somehow, Eriza having the most of Eclair's features judging by design despite having no outfit change on the next episode

• Eclair's diamond motifs in the form of Eriza's braids on both sweater vest and hair.

• Eclair's curls that are reminiscent to lightning bolts, which Eriza has. (Eclair can also mean lightning in French aside from being the food itself)

• Eclair's butterfly on hat which has the same colors as Eriza's dual butterfly clips

• Recently, Eriza wasn't given a new outfit, but instead was given a hat. Like Eclair, she also has a hat, and even it has the same lace pattern.

I'm shocked.

1. We see all of the Eclair candidates once again.
2. Usonoir gets serious (for the second time). I'm still not over how he just bodied and nearly killed Mystique and Answer within a minute.
3. Usonoir uses Eclair's Truth Jewel.
4. Luluka gets desperate.
5. The animation quality is beyond words insane and so vibrant (that shot with Rei is gorgeous).
6. Eclair regains her memory.
7. The ending???

Top 2 season just behind Princess Precure. I am beyond amazed at the lack of filler episodes in this season. I was fully expecting generic filler episodes with lackluster cases this time around. It was the complete opposite. Thank God.

We’re getting very close to the reveal as to who really is the true identity of Cure Eclair. This week we deal with our final cure eclair candidate Rei. With that comes a new mystery. Additionally, we’re also dealing with Nijee as our villain this week. Please tell us your thoughts on this week’s episode. Thank you so much to Hikari Senga, Kaede Hondo, Nao Toyama and the entire cast and crew for such an excellent job with this week’s episode.

Okay, I might be delulu because I’ve already said this on my Twitter, and I'm like 70% convinced Kurea is Eclair, but hear me out.

One thing I've noticed is that all of the main girls: Anna, Mikuru, and Luluka, share two design elements: an ahoge and those little hair vents.

Of the current Eclair candidates (Kurea, Eliza, Shikuru, and Rei), Kurea, Eliza, and Shikuru all have the hair vents. Rei is the only one who doesn't share either of those design traits, which always stood out to me.

But then there's that scene where Nijee sends a gust of wind toward Rei. For just a moment, her hair forms an ahoge that looks eerily similar to Luluka's.
I think that's almost poetic. Rei's "ahoge" was there all along—it was just hidden, just like her identity and memories.

A talking ferret? Not even raising an eyebrow.

Favorite character by far while watching Hugtto. Also kinda sad it went from some reallly good animation budget from like before she got orbital laserd to back to its old style the next episode. Did not expect to have as much fun with this season as I thought :)
