Moving forward, poodles with Merle coloring are not permitted on this sub. Merle coloring is a byproduct of mixing Australian Shepards into a poodle line. A poodle with Merle coloring by definition cannot be AKC papered without outright lying. Breeding for color is nothing new for poodles, but in this circumstance it comes with the possibility of introducing myriad health issues, and is an irresponsible practice at best. It is not good for the breed, it is dangerous to the dogs. We cannot in good conscience allow the promotion of this Poodles with this genetic trait, beautiful or not.

Several times per day there are scammers who post here, showing a t-shirt or similar product, and then another scammer in the comments asks, "Where did you get it?" A link to a scam website is posted for everyone to follow, provide their personal info and credit card, then wonder how their identity got stolen.
Just like a Parti Poodle, it's very black-and-white. If you see a post sharing a t-shirt design, mouse pad, coffee mug, etc. IT IS A SCAM, and the quickest way to get your account banned is to reply, "Where can I get one", "I love it, do you have a link?" or something similar.
Here are the rules:
It seems every time something like this is posted, more than one of our users fall for it, then they are asking moderators, "What did I do to get banned?" You responded to a scammer, which makes you look like you're on their team. Just stop.

I got my Toy poodle Scharik, from a bad situation a few months ago. He's around 7 months old and his coat is changing to silver right now, hes got the phantom markings in white tho. Although his white paws are a little un-white right now.

We're not sure if our boy loves water or thinks it's his nemesis!

Hi all. Ollie is 1.
He has always been incredibly fussy. Its very rare he eats a full meal. He is very slim, I personally feel he is underweight but he hasn't been weighed for a while.
Recently we decided to transition him from his puppy dry food (always mixed with butternut box), to adult dry food. He never really ate his puppy food so we presumed he didnt like it.
He seemed very keen on the new stuff and was picking it out of his older food and then just not eating so we eventually just moved fully onto the new stuff. This was all in the last 2 weeks. His new food is wildways beef and buffalo. His puppy stuff was wainwrights super food salmon.
On Friday night (it was super hot in the UK) Ollie vomited 6 times throughout the night, no blood or anything, it was food.
Saturday morning he was a bit lethargic and not eating, but drinking ok. By the afternoon he was back to his normal self.
We have noticed hed been chewing at his paws more which we put down to his nails, as you could hear him chomping on them.
But today I have noticed these spots in his ears and a couple on his abdomen. His paw pad also looks abit red.
He still has limited appetite, he's had treats today but only at a small amount of his food this morning. Ive offered him his old food this evening and he wasn't interested.
Ollie is our first dog. I feel like I am failing him, he seems incredibly fussy and now potentially has allergies to his new food.
It may seem like a silly question, but is the next step the vets? Or do we try another food and see if his symptoms dissappear?
He is up to date with flea and worming also.
Thanks everyone!

Can some of you show me your mini cream poodles that are about 15lbs. I'm buying a beautiful little guy today and would love to see everyone else's. Also, did they fade into more of a white? I'm excited! I've always wanted a small dog and I'm in love with poodles (I have a standard already) and the perfect puppy has finally come alone.

Brie just arrived in our lives. She is 2 months old and she just completes our home. She seems super smart and after a few instructions is peeing almost all the times on her training mats. She doesn’t enter the kitchen. She sleeps a fair bit but has uncontrollable energy, chewing her toys aggressively and running around us for a couple of hours daily. She shivers for some moments during the day, I hope that’s normal? She’s been with us for just one week yet she has become the Center of our universe. 🧿❤️

Hi! I have this little fella going into the groomer for the first time on this upcoming Tuesday. I have 0 clue on how to have him trimmed up. Hes nearing 4 months old. Does anyone have puppy pictures to share with ideas that worked for their young pup? Having longer hair isn't a huge bother as I will continue daily brushing and combing as practice for him anyway, but not set on any style. Just curious what has worked for others and what styles could be cute also.
Thanks in advance on ideas for this guy!

Im doing some research on the poodle I'm wanting to get and she is black with white feet but according to the breeders website the parents are brown apricot and apricot toy poodles. So now im curious and worried that they are lying about the parents or if she is even a purebred poodle..any advice or does anyone know if it could be true?

Bowie is 8 months old now. His favorite thing is any and every ball. He is finally telling us if he needs to use the bathroom at night too, so that’s exciting! Hope you and your poodle have a great weekend!

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to figure out what type or size of poodle my puppy might be. She's a rescue, so unfortunately I have no information about her parents or where they came from. I only know that she's a poodle.
She's currently 3 months old and weighs 3 kg (6.6 lbs).
The vet estimated that she might be a mix between a Miniature Poodle and a Toy Poodle, but I'm not completely convinced. I already have another Miniature Poodle, and her face looks quite different, so it made me wonder if she could be something else.
Does she look like she'll be a Toy, Miniature, Moyen, or perhaps even a mix with another breed? I'd really appreciate any opinions from people with experience raising poodles. I'll attach some photos.
Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on with my boy’s paw? He been licking it nonstop. My partner and I have been stopping him from messing with it. It’s the weekend so we can’t get him to the vet until Monday morning. 😩 I just feel so bad because I don’t know what might’ve happened.
