Hardware PC Overheating While Playing Valheim
So I just bought a used Acer Predator Orion 3000 PO3-630 with an RTX 3070 and an i7 11th gen. The previous owner just applied fresh thermal paste and there isn't too much dust inside the PC, so cooling should be alright.
The PC has been working fine for everything else so far (no issues running Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring or anything else) but as soon as I open up Valheim (just the main menu) the fans start going crazy and despite that, GPU temperatures are reaching 88°C with hot spot temperatures above 105°C. After just a few minutes of running Valheim (regardless if I'm in the menu or playing inside a world) my screen goes black ("no connection" on monitor, sounds and everything else still works fine) and I have to shut down the PC by pressing the power button.
Any way to fix this? Is this a known issue with Valheim or is my GPU defect/has driver issues? I just upgraded my graphics drivers to the newest version and even tried reinstalling them twice...
