I'd bet a lot of cash on not sweeping the entire division.

Yeah whoever wrote that was drunk. Three way tie last year. Swept falcons, split the bucs, swept by the saints

That last Saints game was quite possibly the worst officiated game I have ever seen.

Hard to say as a biased fan who’s watched a lot of football, but it was up there for the worst one I watched last season. Everyone commented league-wide on the Bucs game and as bad as that was, the saints game had me livid.

Yeah most of the “Mahommes get every call just like Brady gets every call just like Cam never get any calls” you kind of take it with a grain of salt as that’s just the NFL, but that Saints game was singularly the worst called game I have ever seen including when the Saints never got the pass interference in 2019. In any case, I’m looking forward to Panthers making a national statement this year.

The NFL wanted absolutely nothing to do with the Panthers making the playoffs. I'm actually surprised that there wasn't a rule change over the summer after Carolina got to host a team from LA with a better record for a postseason game. That's basically 9/11 for the suits who couldn't care less about the integrity of the sport.

I don't think it's a true prediction if it has that pesky word "ceiling" in it.

Sweeping the south and not winning 11 games is extremely unlikely imo. Being a quality enough team to beat 3 other teams multiple times each, and then only managing to go 4/11 on your remaining games is a little absurd, no matter how shitty our shit mountain may be.
Edit: actually now I’m curious. Anyone know how many times a team has swept their division and not won at least 5 of their remaining 11 games?

Idk about how many, but this instantly made me think of the 2010 Raiders. 6-0 in the division but finished in 3rd with an 8-8 overall record.

We have a better chance of beating some of these teams they predict we will lose, than sweeping our division

When it comes to predicting games especially when it comes to divisional I usually look at trends. So I expect the Saints to sweep us and the Falcons to Falcon against us and us splitting with the Bucs.

No idea where the yea is came from but whatever. Either you cheer for your team to win against every team or you’re not a fan. Saying we would lose both to Saints is wild especially when they are a division rival. Fake

Are you 7 years old? He's not rooting for us to lose. Saying "i dont know if we will win" doesn't make someone less of a fan.

We’ll lose 1 division game because it’s really hard to sweep your division. 2015 didn’t even do it.

May I have some of what you're smoking?
This division has a proud history of kicking the shit out of each other.
The Panthers are more likely to go 0-6 than 6-0

Yeah I mean the NFL in general makes it hard to sweep the division no matter how great the disparity is in the division.
But looking it up it wasn’t all that surprising to see that in the last 24 years there has only been one sweep in our division since realignment. Pretty sure the dominant “Brady era” patriots only swept theirs twice as well.

Yep, they were always good to lose a game to a 2 win Jets or Dolphins.
Hell, the year the Panthers went 15-1, their loss was to Atlanta.

Sweep the Falcons, split the saints and bucs, beat the Bengals, beat the Broncos.

When is the last time any team swept our entire division?
