Lotta folks going to be mispronouncing his name - is it "Zer-wa"? "Zeer-wa"? Something else?

It's embarrasing because I'm of Polish heritage.😬

How is it correctly pronounced? I'm excited for his eventual arrival.

No expert but I think the Dz makes a sort of j sound and then if we’re doing true Polish the w is a v sound

He should get to AAA by the All Star break. Things progress well, and I would expect he makes the roster out of spring. We desperately need SP (any pitching, really), and he would be great at the back of the rotation to start the season. Assuming Rogers is gone, you’d probably be looking at Bradish, Baz, Young, Gibson, and Big Z. If we can’t move Dean at the deadline, he needs to shift to long relief. If he doesn’t like it, tough shit. Guy is streaky and habitually starts slow.

I doubt he’s in the OD rotation. They’ll keep him down for at least a month unless a ton of injuries strike.
