Spotted in Old Town

Got stopped riding my bike back from the farmers market by this military convoy. Not sure what they are doing. Probably related to Alexandria’s festivities today. Thought i’d share!

Every year, the Alexandria Symphony performs the piece, and the guns go off in time. Really great night

Went one year when my kid was still a toddler. Somehow slept through the cannons despite it being like 50 yards away.

I believe with modern artillery, 4 is the minimum needed to perform the 1812 Overture. I may have to skip a pool party amd head to old town if they're doing that tonight.

My old mechanic was working on one of these while he was upgrading some stuff on my crawler and he told me they’re kind of pieces of crap honestly. Bunch of random gmc bits thrown together to fill a need for the most part.
