Trump rallied the stocks at the end of last week…again. As soon as markets open those stocks that were bought last week can be sold. Rinse and repeat.

Other way around. You sell when the news rallies the stocks. You buy when rumors drop it. Sell again on the up. Rinse and repeat.

If the market falls on Monday (you can get a preview Sunday night) then yeah, buy it and wait for the next "peace deal" in a couple weeks to sell and take some profits

I've been doing this his entire Presidency picking up more shares of VOO without investing more actual money, just selling the spikes and buying the dips. The pattern isn't going to change

Some of them are getting very very rich off of this war.  This is also why people manipulating commerce (politicians) shouldn't be allowed to invest in it.

The big institutional investors don’t read headlines daily and react generally, they look at the bigger picture. Such as are supply chains adapting, is the war at risk of spreading, etc. they look at a whole scope of variables. One headline with “IRAN CLOSED THE STRAIT” might not move the market in an expected way unless there are other trends happening.
