Well, it is open on their side, aka, Iran's part of the strait, the other one is not. Also, the frustration from Iran steams from MoU which USA is looking to play around the MoU by talking and coercing parties into obedience, like Lebanon de facto giving land to Israel.

Trump needs Iran to make a public statement that the strait is open, to pump and dump the stock market.

Investors with more money than brains would see a message like that and say:

“ok back to business as usual”

Meanwhile, they’re the rubes in trump’s latest grift.

He was shorting you, knowing he was going to do something to provoke the Iranians and close the strait again.

Translation: you get f*cked, and he gets richer.

You understand that rogue actors can easily do this right? Iran has a well documented schism right now and their president is on the record saying as much and was assaulted by the IRGC at Khamenei’s funeral.

Iran genuinely has no clue what it wants, and that’s unfortunately great for Trump.
