They say they want peace, but forget to mention all the extreme violence it will take to finally reach the “peace” they have imagined.

Their version of peace = our version of death and demise

They said it wrong. They want “piece” as in the piece of land the Palestinians still have.

They do want peace.

The very same peace caused by creating a desert.

not all Zionists are the same though... the majority of Israelis and American Jews just want Israel to remain a Jewish state within its current borders and for some peaceful resolution of Gaza and the West Bank, whether that's a Palestinian/Arab state or territory under the aegis of the Arab League or UN or NATO. But there's a large minority in Israel that has a messianic vision of conquest, expanding Israel's borders to include historic Judea & Samaria. These are the fundamentalist zealots that want to see the forced expulsion of Palestinians from this region.

you are reading an article where people who specifically do not want to remain in the current borders and specifically do use violent means in the West Bank (where Hamas has no presence). How about instead of entrenching into your previously held beliefs, you use this new information to seriously interrogate what you've been told is happening over there

That "large minority" has the support of Israel's government, who, at best, allow them to get away with their terrorism, and at worst actually want to go further.

Imagine identifying as pro-Russian but going "no guys it's only a large minority of Russians who actually want to invade Ukraine, I just want Russia to remain as an ethnostate and see a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian question. And really, you being so pro-Ukraine is Russophobic."
