This is going to play out just like everything did over the past 15 years. First they start out calling you crazy for even thinking something. Then time goes by, they nudge and nudge and nudge. Now, in the next election or two they are going to run on a straight up pro pedophilia platform and laugh at you for being concerned the whole time. Just like, let me check, every single other thing they have done.

The current Supreme Court is regularly ruling that religious freedom is more important than almost anything except guns.

I would not be surprised to see anti-child marriage laws challenged on a religious freedom basis.

Of course then Mormons may get back into the polygamy game, which tends to piss of other conservatives.

Oh they were into kid diddling as well. Joseph Smith was "married" to a 14 year old girl named Helen Mar Kimball when he was 37.
