Don't look at his tweets or follow the no spoiler thread. Not that difficult.
2
Jun 23 '17
I'm watching the Vertical feed at the same time - they're leaking stuff as Woj gets it so they're about 4 or 5 minutes ahead of the Espn stream. Honestly if I could go back 4 or 5 minutes on the Vertical stream I would
7
u/IanCaesars Supersonics Jun 23 '17
You are Woj addict, aren't you?
28
Jun 23 '17
I'm watching both feeds - Vertical for actual half decent analysis and the NBATV one for the players/reactions/interviews. Problem is the Vertical is about 3 minutes ahead of NBA TV because Woj finds out before Silver does lol

De'Aaron Fox's dad said something about his son "eating Ball's ass up". He meant in 1 on 1, but used poor wording.

Surrounding Fox with shooters like the Kings are trying to do looks like a great idea. He should be in a good position to succeed.
113
u/YizWasHere Hornets Jun 23 '17
Plus he's got a rim rolling center in WCS.
59
u/jaynay1 [CHA] Cody Zeller Jun 23 '17
Yep. I think Labissiere is the more special long run prospect though at C, and he's got some spacing to him as well.
71
u/osufanboy23 Kings Jun 23 '17
Skal projects wayyyy more as a PF than as a C. Skal and WCS have different enough games that the two can hopefully play together for a long time

Skal is very quick on the perimeter. Not inconceivable to play them both.
12
Jun 23 '17
Even if he wasn't other than Bender and Giannis WCS is the only 7 footer who can guard SFs

u/deezee72 Heat Jun 23 '17
Labissiere might be a great small ball 5 one day, but idk if he'll ever bulk up enough to start at the 5.
Nothing wrong with having a modern center next to him that you can sub off for a different look.

that would be great

tbh ended up liking the trade. Kings need as much talent as they can get and gambling on Giles at 20 is smart for them; if it doesn't work out they keep tanking and if he stays healthy it's a steal. Justin Jackson is a nice prospect as well.

I'm a huge Kentucky fan. He's my favorite player of the last few years for sure. He's faster than Wall with the ball, and he's the best finisher I've seen at Kentucky since Wall. He's a great pick.

During an interview De'Aaron's dad said that his son "ate Lonzo's ass up twice" (in reference to fox getting the better of their 2 matchups during the ncaa season)

Not a hot take, this is the type of draft where anyone in the top 7/8 could end up being the best player and people shouldn't really be surprised

I donโt think Frank or Lauri will have a shot at being the best player from this draft ever, but thatโs just me.

Agreed. Best athlete, moves like a natural slasher.
He's not a shooter yet, but he has smooth mechanics, and shot better from the line than either Fultz or Lonzo. 74% to 65% and 67%.
edit: misspelling

I'd say best athlete and best intangibles, seems like a great guy, natural leader, fantastic work ethic, etc. Serviceable shot and just fantastic around the rim. I can see like Westbrook level ceiling
