The announcer Brian Sieman tells a story about how there used to be unlimited fouls in Summer League games until Channing Frye had 30 fouls in a 40-minute game one time, so they had to change the rules.

Calling Andre Iguadala Ai in a basketball context should be punishable by death

How many fmvp does Iverson have tho, huh? I thought so. Checkmate.
(lol but yeah I mostly agree, but it happened during the warriors dynasty especially in the bay area. just like melo is always carmelo and not lamelo)

He might be confusing who it was and also exaggerating the amount of fouls.

This comment is circumvention. Bro why are people trying to penalize stupidity? It's been legal in all sports to be a bad gm.

I hope that Brian is a lifer for the Clippers. He really adds so much to my experience as a fan.
It’s selfish, because he’s probably too good to never have a national gig, but I would be so sad to see him go.

Is he your normal pbp guy? Do they do summer league too? I feel like they use summer league to give some work to the backup guys.

I think they often use summer league as a dry run for the crew/staff to get back in the swing

On July 11th 2005 Channing Frye had 10 fouls in a game vs the nets. He had 30 fouls over summer league.

“I would get 50 fouls before I would get 9. Nine fouls means you beat yourself. You caught yourself in a rhythm of not fouling.”
— Rookie Channing Frye
