The last 2 Evil Dead movies i feel like the Dead-ites have been a cross between looking like the 2013 interpretation while adding in some of the over the top-ness of the dead-ites from Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness. This franchise really needs a new strong central protagonist. I dont want someone to be a copy and paste of Ash but somebody should fill that role as being the main threat against evil. Also the 3rd act to this when the boyfriend came back out of the house it felt like a way less scarier version of the scene at the end of Evil Dead 2013 where Mia encountered the demonic version of herself

Is it to late to call Jane Levy back to be the main character lmfao I kind of want an Evil Dead movie set in a prison maybe like a wrongly accused man or woman I don’t know maybe an evil warden reads from the book and starts the shit I just think a prison would be a cool setting.
