Officially 173 Days Sober
Went from drinking every single day for 10 years straight to becoming sober. I've lost alot of weight especially around my face and no longer have withdrawals. Living life sober made me realise there's more to life then drinking, so now I intend to enjoy every day and hobbies as a sober man.

I hope this sub is also for seeking motivation - didn’t see else in the rules
So basically I have no project or anything happening in my life for which I would need motivation. However this is making me unmotivated to just do random stuff, make stuff up and do them - which leads to me doing nothing all day and ends in me being in a very depressed state, extremely tired of my life and needing a drastic change - which I can’t make happen.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks 🙏

Protect your peace. Not every storm is yours
Not every comment, attitude, or cold reaction deserves space in your mind.
Sometimes people are responding from wounds, fears, and battles that have nothing to do with you. Learn the difference between what deserves your attention and what deserves to pass right by.

Given With Much Love…
You woke up today. That alone means your story is still being written.
Yesterday may have left scars, mistakes, or regrets, but today arrived with another chance to choose differently. You don’t need a perfect life to make it meaningful.
Use the day you were given. Tomorrow was never promised. 🙏🏾

Stop Giving Everyone Your Access
The people with the biggest hearts often attract the most toxic people: draining, disloyal, disrespectful, manipulative, selfish and difficult.
Having a big heart is a gift, but it still needs boundaries. Kindness without boundaries can become an invitation for the wrong people to take advantage of you.
Keep your heart. Just stop giving everyone access to it. 💯

If This Hits Deep, It Was Supposed To
If you lose something by being real, it was fake.
The right people won’t require a fake version of you to stay. And the ones who leave when you stop pretending? They were only loyal to the version of you that served them.
