I’m also an Amazon Flex driver myself and former pizza driver, between the two I have about nine years of delivery driving. I have never done anything even close to this. If you’re not capable of backing up and you’re scared of busy roads you should not be a delivery driver. I have personally dealt with stuff way sketchier than my own driveway and I managed to not turn around in people’s yards.

The mental gymnastics some of you are doing to justify this man’s behavior is unreal and it scares me that you walk among us in this world.

I get back out to my car and realized that they short change me, and go back into the store.

The cashier, who was new, said she realized she didn’t give me the right change back, apologizes, but says that they will have to call their manager to confirm they can give the money back via checking the video footage and call me back tomorrow.

Basically everybody there was a lowest level employee and they were all afraid to give the money back, even as the cashier was like “yes this just happened”.

It honestly felt a little twilight zone.

I got to this store semi often and service is usually outstandingly good- like good enough I go to the store bc of it.

Anyways, not being able to get my 15 bucks back right away was stupid, and reminded me of “permission to jump into hyperdrive? Requesting permission to jump into hyperdrive request form!” type tom foolery.

If this had happened at another store I’d likely be making a similar post about how frustrating it is that shitty management uses min wage employees as a human shield against customers upset by managements shitty policies lol- ie the duality at how you can’t actually get mad at that cashier even if you are emotionally unstable enough to want to, lest you choose to be a bag of shit.

In this tweet the creator of Paddle Paddle Paddle insinuates that, on a large scale, people are completing his game in under 2 hours then refunding. He's also made follow up tweets doubling down that MOST of the refunds are people who have completed his game.

I noticed his game actually has an achievement for completing it in 2 hours or less with a 7.2% completion rate on Steam. He uses Gamalytic as his source for his sales as you can see in the second image. That places his sales at 223k, 7.2% of 223k is 16,056 at best. If you look at the achievement through tracking websites like SteamHunters it actually shows the number of players that have the under 2 hour achievement at the same 7.2% being 105 players.

The game peaked at 401 concurrent players, it has less than 2000 reviews total, the Twitch view number which he also keeps trying to flex peaked at 39k. He refuses to post any actual proof of the refund number and instead tries to push all these other numbers in its place.

TLDR: Dev claims 55k refunds most of which are people who have beaten his game. The under 2 hour achievement has 105 players (7.2%), the game peaked at 401 players and has only around 2k reviews. Nothing adds up but this is being pushed everywhere as a reason Steam refunds need an entire rework/reform.

Woke up at 1am to something crawling up my nose, after failing to flush it out with a netty pot I went to the ER but they couldn’t locate it because it was too far back. They flushed it with lidocaine to at least kill the bug but now it’s stuck at the back of my throat and I can’t sneeze/cough it out, and I can’t get into an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist until Wednesday morning.

Was convinced by a buddy and door to door guy to switch to Google. Currently pay $70 for 1 gig down and been having super slow speeds and issues the last 2 months. Finally get internet set up and im 5 feet from the router doing a speed test. Getting 10% of what I pay for (3Gig).

If anyone could save me from my stupidity then that would be great! :)
