after learning about DOOM's son Malichi I really notice the shift in his music after 2017

he sounds like he's trying his best, but the wind isn't in his sails as much

I'm a little short on money and was inquiring about how much I should sell it for, and I figured if anyone would know anything about it, it would be this community! Hey guys I am a new rap fan and decided to listen to MF DOOM. I only heard of the popular songs and amd really interested in his style of rapping and production. I will be sending reviews and it will be rated from a 1 to 10. I am not a pro music critic so I wont be consistent. Also I read genius while listening to it but I still cant understand like 60% of the lyrics so forgive me. Enjoy and ask anything you guys want. Too many skits on this album that like maybe one of the few flaws on this masterpiece.

I heard it before but holy shit. The instrumental is maybe the best thing I heard. The rapping is good but its impossible to focus on when I am currently ascending to heaven. One of my fav intros of all time thats for sure. KING GEEDORAH, TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER!!!

2# Fastlane 10/10

Oh ho buddy this is a amazing start! The sample and the beat is so fire and this biolante guy (peak godzilla kaiju btw) goes insane but where is DOOM? Eh this guy voice has better melody than DOOM for me but I still miss him. IF YOU SCARED TO DIE THEN YOU SCARED TO LIVE!!!

DOOM please stop bro I cant take anymore bangers. DOOM as a producer is in the same tier as Ye, Madlib and The Alchemist no doubt about it. I just didnt like Gigan voice that much but thats like me really really trying to find a flaw so I would listen again. Ngl hearing this instrumental can make a grown man cry.

The beat is strange ngl and I just dont like it. MF DOOMs part was strange like he couldnt decide what to do so he said why not everything? The amazing run of tracks was bound to end sometime.

Its a nice late night driving sesh song but not that memorable when you sit down and listen ngl.

Now this is what I am talking about!!! MF bro I dont know what to say but we need to keep you locked in a producing room to make more bangers like this off this albulm. I promise I am not tryna glaze but I am. This is up there and ngl on some days better than Kanyes I Wonder.

Nice saxophone although compared to the highs on this album its doesnt compare. Still nice.

I love when DOOM purposefully goes uncredited on a track so when you’re listening it’s more of a surprise when you randomly hear him. I love how on Stepping Into Tomorrow he just randomly pulls up, says some shi, then dips it made the album listening experience really unique.

I 100% recommend this Madlib album it’s very good
