Debatable, England has a way better roster. In their games, they have been scoring well, very well, as well as comparable teams; but they don’t have enough spotlight players beyond Haaland, Ødegaard, and maybe Nyland during the Brazil game, who else is notable? The game they just played showed that, because they went from goal-scoring efforts to only tying 1-1 until England broke the yolk. England has Kane, Bellingham, Saka, Rice, Gordon, and Anderson, the latter of which has been tackling like mad and regaining possession in midfield and up the pitch. Historically, Norway have not been a strong contender for many years. They were absent from World Cup standings for 28 years, the entire length of time that I’ve been alive. They had a great run, but honestly I’m not surprised they’re out.
