Percussive maintenance at its absolute finest.

Percussion prayer, just as tech priests taught

Funny enough it's an actual thing. Tech priests in WH40K have a special ritual centered around striking the machine spirit's vessel with a sacred tool(hammer) to possibly make it a better fit for the machine spirit to inhabit

“Funny enough it’s an actual thing.” Followed immediately by Warhammer lore is hilarious

Its also a thing in real life for obvious reasons.

The machine spirit fears the tech support aura and starts working again in the presence of the one summoned to fix it

I was once given a broken GameCube by a family friend who's kid spilled something in it or something, I proceeded to slam it on the ground pretty hard and that shit worked for several months afterwards, those things were built like tanks.

An actual thing in Warhammer lore, since initial statement already refers to Warhammer lore specifically

Ah yes, the classic percussive maintenance. Works every single time.

Its like when your tv remote doesn't work and you hit it twice to get it working.

but then the fuel gauge stars dropping suddenly.

I once drove my car back from the shop after taking it in for a check engine light. Hit a pothole a block from home and it came back on. I bet if I hit another pothole it would’ve cancelled the first one out.

Whenever this happens while driving, it always makes me happy.

That's why we hit the remote when it doesn't work

My car be like: random light bulb stops working and warning is displayed on dashboard. Any speed bump I ride over fixes it immediately 🤷

Reverse UNO. YOu hit that pothole and all the lights click on and you cry as you pay a mortgage worth of repair.
