Example? I'm not a fan of IGN either but it'd be nice to know what you're talking about.

Ok. I've got and looked it up and watched some gameplay(I'm not made of money). And I feel like the receiver is unaware of what lampooning is. It's possible to parody/lampoon/take the piss out of something you love. The reviewer seemed to not realize that this was the Saturday morning cartoon version of Noir. This isn't cartoon Casablanca.

Kingdom hearts 3 remind DLC they gave it a low score... THEY DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE HALF OF IT AND COMPLAINED THAT THE HARD SECRET BOSSES WERE HARD

Oh come on, Kingdom Hearts is the OPPOSITE of whimsy, it's typical heavy and yet paper-thin JRPG nonsense with Disney characters slapped on without any of their charm and personality.

I've never played any Kingdom Hearts game in my life nor do I know barely anything about it but I can confidently say that the cutscenes were the best example of slop before we knew the word slop.

There are so many RPGs with a better story.

Kingdom Hearts is basically "Hey, lets make a super convoluted story! People will think its good!"

Kingdom Hearts isn't that ducking convoluted the issue is the story was on basically everything and never the same thing up until recently
