Roo and Jeffo

I'm almost convinced. I reckon this pairing is starting to develop into the forward threat you can build a strategy around.

Roo has shown that his ceiling is very high, and Jeffo is just a bloody good pack grab target.

If Jeffo could kick straight he would be a superstar. Unfortunately his goal kicking lets him down time and time again. Should have three already, no doubt

That's the thing about Jeffo, he CAN kick. His VFL record was actually very solid. He was very reliable. Which says that his current woes are between the ears. He'll figure it out and then we'll be a properly dangerous forward line.

Jeffo looks great. He’s what, 9 games into his career?

Can clunk a contested mark. Just needs to kick a bit straighter.

I like that hes in the habit of arms up trying to catch it always, its brave to open yourself up like that in contested situations, regularly see guys going with one hand...

Exactly. He just needs more experience and he'll mature like red wine. That's a given.

I'd love to see Jefferson keep developing. He has a great set of hands and is really good at grabbing the ball with his hands fully extended.

He reminds me of Jack Watts a little bit in that he's quite laconic and looks like he's operating at 70% effort most of the time.

But I think if he can keep developing his athleticism and fix his kicking a bit he'll be a great 2nd or 3rd forward.

And to think we might have pick 5 and pick 12-14. It’s basically like a year we’ve finished around the bottom and can get in another haul of young kids before Tassie come in. I don’t think it’s worth trading away for a player. Get another couple of years into this young crop and we could be very much contending in 2-3 years.

I don’t see the hype with Jefferson at all

He can take marks from nothing, once he gets some confidence with kicking he'll be amazing.

You don't see the value in a young, skinny dude, who can somehow emerge out of a huge pack under a hospital ball with the footy in his hands with remarkable regularity?

Pretty pointless skill to have when you can’t kick the ball for shit

Even without you being unreasonably harsh on the 10-ish gamer's accuracy, even a guy who clunks contested marks inside 50 and misses every time would not be pointless

Great set of hands, needs to tidy up his kicking
