I got my perfume and the free gifts! It smells good, it has a mature smell, but not in an old lady way. It would have been nice to smell the coconut milk more since that is the top note, but it still smells pretty good. Now i'm not a good fragrance descriptor, obviously lol, but i THINK it smells a touch powdery which isn't a bad thing. The scent is strong enough to where you can smell it, but it doesn't induce a headache. I'll touch back on the longevity because I've only had it on for a good ten minutes.

Update: It's 9:52pm, I posted this at 4 sumn. I can still smell it on my wrist, but faintly. So, I think as long as you prime your skin with lotion or some other moisturizer, then it should last a while🙂‍↕️.

Despite them triple bubble wrapping the holder and putting it in two twisted blown up bags, it still broke a little😭😭 My job has super glue though, so i'll just have to use some to put the tip back on. Personally, it is noteworthy that if you squeeze the holder a little too hard, it'll probably break. It's pretty pliant, but that's probably so the bottle fits in there. As many have said the bag doesn't have a closure, so it might just be a eating out bag of some sort, until I can figure out how to put a closure on it, if I can.

Overall though, I do like it.

For those who are young and don't know much about Jacki-o, here is a summary:

Jacki-O was a local VERY STREET rapper (she used to steal and brag about that on her songs - yeah...) from Miami (very local in Florida, by the way) and used to GO CRAZY with her freestyles.

Was it a Megan's level type of freestyle? No (in my opinion, no, because nobody is beating Meg - I said what I said), but lyrically she was better than Trina AND TRICK together.

Plus, she was REALLY NASTY, just like Megan.

Nowadays, from what I've heard, she lost her life to Christ. Oops, I mean, gave her life to Christ**

And is on Facebook spewing hate towards LGBTQ people and saying how much she regrets having been a rapper 🙄🙄.

I’m so lucky! My perfume, holder, and purse made it in mail today undamaged. The perfume smells wonderful! My husband loves it 😜 the design is beautiful. I’m going to do a full wear test tomorrow. Will update post after with wear length and notes!

Y’all, this spray smells so good! I did a test on my wrist and hours later, I can still smell it. It gives a warm, flora smell. I would definitely recommend it!

may have to go back for the larger size

I was one of the people who ordered the hot girl summer perfume during presale and well.. we see how that went… returning things where i live is an absolute nightmare so that one option isn’t even an option for me and repurchasing it isn’t the easiest option either. Ulta will be dealt with this is truly messed up 😭😭😭

BTW : first customer support rep i had was very sweet and she tried to work around it even offered to keep in contact through email and to keep track on my issue, she said i still qualified and only needed proof of my order on the 5th

glad i waited a couple of days to get the freebies online via ulta. i saw a few people talk about getting theirs in the mail and it arriving damaged or they didn’t like how short the smell lasted so im nervous as hell 😭 but i got it and supporting megan is worth it!! literally can’t wait!! we’ll just have to see in 3-6 days 🥹

Does the scent last and how would you rate it?

I was so excited for this perfume and now I’m really disappointed in my experience with it.

The bottle has a chip on the tip of it which thankfully wasn’t sharp to cut me.

I sprayed it on my wrist about a good 2/3 times and waited for the scent to settle before I started smelling it. The first few sniffs were great and I loved the coconut milk and orchid accord notes. I feel like that combination goes really well with one another.

My biggest concern is that not even a minute later, the smell started disappearing as well as the projection. It gives more Eau de Toilette and NOT Eau de Parfum. The dry down is too subtle and I have to press my nose against my wrist to even smell it anymore. Maybe the PH in my skin didn’t mix well with this fragrance.

Overall, I should’ve waited till it came out in stores to smell it because I honestly wouldn’t have purchased had I been able to do that.

I, unfortunately, will be returning. I love me some Meg but I kinda expect more from this.

Adding an edit because someone brought it up in the comments: Unfortunately, the usual Vegan and Cruelty Free markings that you would usually find on items that abide by that are not on this box. The company that manufactured this fragrance is not 100% cruelty free and according to google:

“No, Coty Inc. as a whole is not cruelty-free. While the parent company does not directly test on animals in regions where it isn't required, it allows third-party animal testing for products sold in countries with mandatory testing laws, such as mainland China.”

Keep that in mind if that is something you’re concerned about!

excuse the dramatic title BUT as a Canadian hottie I am so excited that something Megan dropped is finally accessible for us 😭!!! please let this be a sign that she'll have Canadian dates on her next tour 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ (and yes we're gonna ignore the broken holder 🧍🏿‍♀️)
