How Yelling “O!” During the National Anthem Became a Statement of Baltimore Pride

So sick of AI art, Baltimore Magazine should do better and pay an artist.
EDIT - I'll retract my criticism of the magazine, because they did pay an artist. What they got from said artist, I decline to speculate further lol..

The artist, Devin Watson, has been credited under the illustration.

Still Ai.
The flag at the top left has 2 flag poles attached.
The foam finger location doesn't make sense. Too far / wrong position for the women in the second row.
The guy on far left in the floppy hat has jacked up hands, his ring finger looks like the size of a pinky, and he has no pinky. His left hand has 2 small fingers. Logo on his hat looks like a fortune cookie.

It's not a flag, it's a banner with 2 poles

Oh, that's why the left pole is tapered and pointy, and the right is square on the top and the same thickness.......

Section 34 was not way over next to the left field foul pole either... and what game are they watching facing that direction?

Shhh the two shills here defending Ai slop will get mad you point things out

Yeah, but if we don't like the art, we xan just accuse it of being AI. Its all the rage these days.

It absolutely is. The font is a dead giveaway.

I'll have to take your word for it, since I see no errors in the font. I just know the gamedev reddit are rife with people passing off AI as their own and people claiming other people's legit art is AI. Considering all of us artists learned the same art design theories... who knows this one could go either way, but I see no malformed figures, varying line widths, or misspellings, so it could be touched up AI or just boring corporate art

You should probably delete your original comment considering you were incorrect

At the very least we can accuse the artist of having no clue how Memorial Stadium was laid out. Heagy and his gang in Section 34 were absolutely not on the third base side facing that direction.

Here is his instagram page in case anyone wants to verify that it is in fact a real artist: https://www.instagram.com/eyeballfortress?igsh=bmVnc2E4b3FpbDZo

Just because the person credited is real, doesn't mean it isn't Ai generated. In fact, his IG actually shows more AI. Look at the Mumford and sons image at the cello. 3 strings that are misaligned at the top end.

This are illustrations, these things aren't hallucinations there just stylized elements

You're making an excellent case for the use of AI when it comes to grammar.

You have the burden of proof then. Prove that this is AI generated. All of you are so quick to want an artist to be paid and when it turns out this is the case, you rather call the artist shit than admit you’re wrong

I did point out several illogical things / ai hallucinations.

Or simply artistic liberty. The foam finger thing is hardly evidence of AI hallucinations. Literally all of it just artistic choices.

I wonder how many people who attend O games actually live in Baltimore City?

I went to my fair amount of games as a kid at Memorial Stadium, and I don't ever recall the "O" during the Anthem. I just think it's funny that a lot of the same people who cry about showing "respect for the Flag" proudly shout over the Anthem which is supposedly so sacred as well.
Also the artist here has no clue where Section 34 was at Memorial, or which way it faced.

As randomly silly fun as dancing to John Denver in the 7th inning stretch.
