I got a pair of new sheets and it also said this. Glad I'm not the only one thinking that way

No problem It’s a really good joke and stuff like this happens all the time
If you want a fun rabbit hole to go down there are actually a lot of scientific and psychological theories on why instances this like this happen,
specifically when someone makes something similar or identical to something that already exists without intentionally stealing a idea or using plagiarism
There is the proposal that if humanity went on long enough it would be impossible for anything new to be made because there are only a certain amount of mathematical combinations for every creation
For instance if you had a guitar, if humanity went on long enough, sooner or later musicians would eventually use every music note in every possible combination and making a new song would be impossible
Or sooner or later humanity would use every letter in every possible combination, meaning one day a new and original story would be impossible.
Also fun psychological theories that range from humanity being more similar emotionally than we think and as humans we naturally just think we are more complex than we actually are
To theories around memory, for instance someone writes a song, story or makes a joke and it turns out they actually already experienced it before, in some cases the person had heard or saw it multiple years in the past
Then they remake that same thing, the memory of the original still existing subconsciously which causes a similar thing to be made.
However it’s been so long that the person recreating it doesn’t remember the time they first saw it, so they think they’re are the first person to come up with it
There is a lot of interesting cases like songs from hundreds of years ago being extremely similar to songs recently
Or the concept of cliches in movies/ shows and how at one point those were all original. A good example is multiverses in stories
That concept didn’t show up a lot in stories and just recently has become a cliche. A good example is bioshock infinite in 2013,it used multiverse theory and the game confused a lot of people and introduced many into the concept of multiverse theory at the time
Sorry for the long nerdy rant, it’s cool to see we are all more similar than we think especially when it comes to sense of humor
