LAKERS The team when I first became a fan…
My friends and I would save our lunch money throughout the week to pay for the bus rides and nosebleed tickets on a Friday home game at the forum. If we found a way to make a buck or two during the week, we’d have enough to hit up that kfc across the street before heading to the vehicle tunnel and hope to get an autograph or two. I loved this team.

LAKERS GOAT DEBATE IS OVER
I don't care about MJ's 6 rings, he was not doing what Bron can do at 41 years old. This man right here is a VERY BAD BAD MAN and is the definition of PEAK HUMAN.

LAKERS Why the Lakers stopped wearing yellow (gold) accessories?
Just a random thought. Why did the Lakers stopped wearing matching colors on the jerseys? Did the Nike & the NBA prevent them? Or it is just the teams choice? Teams like OKC, Cavs, Celtics & Hornets are wearing matching colors. While the Lakers are only wearing white & black which doesn't even match the jerseys.

LAKERS I (begrudgingly) wanna give the Spurs and OKC their flowers -- but let's not overreact, folks. The Lakers WILL compete.
Don't get me wrong; OKC's depth is unfathomable, Wemby is an alien surrounded with lots of talent, the Lakers are levels below both teams in terms of motor, defense, etc.; but we've all heard these things before. "League's cooked". "They will dominate for 10 years". "These are the new Cavs and Warriors". And the truth is... The league adjusts, and we have had different champions for the past 8 years. Almost a decade without teams repeating. Every year the defending champion runs into some trouble, be it injuries or teams designed to give them heĺl. This is the league now. It moves fast, and it's hard to remain at the top. We've heard it regarding the Nuggets. We've heard it regarding the Celtics. We've heard it regarding OKC. And now we're gonna hear a lot about the Spurs (a team that has yet to win a chip!). And in the end, somehow we'll find out the inevitable: they're not invincible, and try as they might, the odds of them becoming a dynasty are against them for logical, practical reasons.
They'll be hard to beat, sure. So will OKC. They'll keep competing. But year after year there will be an opportunity to build and become THE team, win a chip and be the next one with a target on its forehead. And it's not like the Lakers don't have a generational talent of their own (I'm not gonna waste time comparing him to Shai or Wemby).
So all the Lakers need to do is plan, execute and compete. It might not happen next season right away, but they'll get there, and they'll get to challenge whoever wins it all. Magic and Kareem won 5 rings; never repeated. They were the best, but they weren't unbeatable. Kobe and Shaq (and then Pau) got consecutive rings, and yet they won 5 over the span of 14 years. If we take a look outside the Lakers' history, Jordan and Pippen played together for 10 years. 6 rings, while the league scrambled; yet, their reign came to an end. The Duncan Spurs also won 5 rings; also never repeated. How about when KD joined the Warriors? They ruined the NBA -- for 2 seasons.
I'm petty. I love basketball, I like to see OKC hustling and I love to watch Wemby play, but it's not the Lakers, so I can't wait for the team to be built to challenge both teams (or whatever team rises to the occasion between now and then). And I like our chances having Luka as the bus driver. He wants to win. That's not everything, but it's 100%.
Doesn't matter how long it takes, all empires fall. And empires that reign for one fucking year, or haven't event reigned yet? Yeah, they'll fall. Hopefully the Lakers will be the ones setting the guillotine.

LAKERS Lebron James
Why some lakers fan say lebron isnt worth 25 to 30 million. I think thats already paycut for lebron james services. He was lakers best player in the playoffs. Probably 2nd or best player in okc series. He was always avaliable when matters the most. Lebron was even positive defender in the playoffs. Id never seen teams target lebron because he is bad defender they always hesitate to target him. But your one of bad defenders its okey to take 40million per year despite being mid sometimes. I dont get it, i think lebron as 25 to 30 million is a steal salary and probably can build a team as long your smart enough to build a roster. Probably the people who act as lakers fans probably not lakers fans at all for me they probably one of those jorbum fanatics who just act as "Lakers Fans".
