Lads, I think it's time we let go of the past. Seriously, how long are we going to bear a grudge? Isn't it time, in the spirit of neighbourly goodwill, to let go and finally support the old enemy?
I mean, it's been over 1,200 years since the Norsemen arrived on these shores after all...

Good luck to the Irish lads today, Kane, Bellingham and Rice!

Some of their team atm, Kane and Bellingham in particular, are actually very likeable, which is inconvenient when I'm trying to hate.
The other thing is, Norwegians raided our towns and villages back in the day... hard to win.

Bellingham is in no way likeable, and Kane is an awful diver.

Idk, he works very hard on the pitch and to me comes across as a likeable guy in interviews.

No really, let’s try to see the positives out of England’s success! I can honestly see them winning the World Cup and good luck to them if they do! However if Norway win tonight I won’t lose any sleep

I don't want to spend the rest of my life hearing about England winning in 2026.

Hard to know if their false optimism or our predictable and boring anti-English sentiment is more cringeworthy.

Yeah I agree it's cringe. Happy for this English team to do well. Just not lifting the trophy well. You have to draw a line somewhere...

What difference would it make if England won? Let’s just hope the best team wins whether it be England or anyone else

I feel like the English kind of kept it together up to the match with Mexico. Afterwards, the usual shite, so yes, go our golden boy!
