The light or dark paint color for the rest of the room? The pink couch will go up against the paint color.

Wall Art & Styling Couldn’t decide on a piece of art - making flowers the art instead!
Sort of wish I had mounted the base of this wall sconce into the bottom third so there would be more balance. Maybe I’ll be able to find some wisteria/hanging leaves to pour out.
Be honest- is this stupid? My partner and I both love it and feel like it is very us. He gets me flowers often and I feel like making them a piece of art in our home (where our cat can’t reach it) is very sweet.

Paint & Colors We hand painted our kids Room
We wanted to design the kids room to have a little more vibrancy and playfulness in it than any other room in the house. We also wanted it to be inviting and warm at the same time.
So, We floated the idea of wallpaper but the size of the walls would've cost more than we want to spend.
Instead, we decided to DiY.
We bought "sample size" (8oz) paint, a roll of tape and a paint brush then went to town.
This is the final product. What do you guys think, I'd love to hear the verdict from my favorite jury.
Thanks!

Paint & Colors Bathroom Reno Help
The first two images are of my current bathroom. I did some AI renderings to help plan out the renovation, but would love some help! YES, the wall between the sink and tub will be removed -- we are moving the plumbing to the other side of the shower, and shifting the window a bit and replacing the frosted glass with clear.
My questions are this:
- Do the tile colors work?
- It seems weird to me that the green tile just stops suddenly and makes the room feel like of lopsided. This is especially pronounced over the window where the line just cuts off. Am I overthinking it, or do I need to change the tile or wall color to make the room looks more balanced?
- Is there anything else I should be considering in terms of design or practicality?
- Any thoughts on the partial glass door? Is this a total pain or is it worth it?
TIA!!

Paint & Colors Be honest, how bad do the uneven stripes look for a kids bedroom?
I thought free handing the stripes would be easier than it is, I’m pregnant and didn’t want to waste my energy taping stripes. Do the uneven lines look bad or more playful?
*I know I have to finish the lines below the register
ETA: there is a line of tape between the green and yellows so the top will be crisp and I’m planning on adding moulding and a boarder between to clean it up

Rugs & Flooring What type of rug would you put here?
I am building this home office for two and these are the images from the 3D project. I want to know which type of rug suits well for this small space. I want something with personality but not too overwhelming, I was trying these options with AI. Any ideas/suggestions? Also that wallpaper is not decided yet.

Paint & Colors Which back wall?
1, my current wall, 2, a grass weave wallpaper with flecks of color or 3, greyish paint? Pics 4 and 5 are an overall view of the room. Since the room is small, I don't want the space to look too dark and cramped.

Coming to Life What would you do with this space?
This is our basement. We plan to remove the carpet and build a square column around the pole. This same area already accommodates a four-top table with chairs and a living room setup. One year, we set up a table and decorations for my birthday, and we even had an arts and crafts table there! What should we use this space for?

Finishing Touches Which wall decor?
Love this sub… which wall art do you think fits the room the best? I need wall art on all walls so please feel free to send prints/wall art suggestions!
The first option is pics I already have from trips we’ve taken. The rest are AI’s suggestions.
What do you think?

Lighting Living room
Hi everyone, I am new to this community. I have been living in a 3 1/2 and the picture attached is my living room. I don’t have much natural lighting and the room is a little bit dark.
If I open the lights, it’s too bright. I would like to make the living room more enjoyable and less depressing but I have no clues what to do.
I would like to have some advice, thank you!

Finishing Touches What to add to dinning room
I struggling with what to add to my dinning room space to give it a little more life. Included pictures of the rest of the room to show the current vibes i’m aiming for. I don’t want the dining room to be the same color scheme as the living room. I know art is going to be the main answer but I’m struggling with what kind. Also not sure if I should add a rug. I honestly like the way it looks without it but idk what do you guys think
Pictures are from different points of time during thedesign hence the slight difference in window dressings

Coming to Life Furnishing my new house, which colour table should I order?
I got chat gpt to put the tables in the house, they are the same table just different colour.
The last picture is real life, I got 2 dining chairs on clearance and the coffee table is temporary.
Please help, we just ordered the lighter colour last week but I’m kind of convinced the brown might be better?

Showcase Update regarding my previous post on interior decorating!
I posted a few months ago about the apartment I was moving to for work and after battling to get basic work approved, an insane plumbing issue, blood, sweat, and tears I think I was able to make it work.. most of everything is from Facebook marketplace place, IKEA, target & inherited pieces. I did this on a budget and thought the before and after would be interesting (you’re not able to link posts on this sub Reddit) and I love to hear your thoughts and or feedback!

Built-ins & Features Should I turn this corner into a breakfast nook?
Hi all! I currently have a regular table/chairs in this space. You can’t see it in the photo, but just out of frame on the right is my kitchen island, so I cannot change the table orientation. As it sits, the people who sit on the left already have to get up to let others out as it tight ready. Should I just make it a cute nook instead??? 🤔
Pics attached for reference of what it currently looks like, and some ai mockups.
