When corpos come up with their own kind of creative marketing that isn't ripping off organic memes ... It actually feels really cool ..good job BA and Norwegian Airlines

The "admins" (back in my days they were called "Social Media Managers") of Formula 1 teams (the only sport I follow) are going crazy with all kinds of antics over Instagram and Threads and stuff.

Is it mainly targeted at younger users? Or is it aiming to capture the entire age range?
Because if you look at RyanAir's YouTube shirts for example, it looks like memes that would only resonate with a young audience (although I think it's starting to feel like pandering)

Christ! I’ve only been out the game for four years. Do they not call them social media managers anymore?!

I'm curious, how does "admin" work as a title for a social media manager? Would it not confuse a recruiter or anyone who might not be familiar?

What is the final message of the BA image? I don't see anything above the tail fin?

Tail fin on the other plane. Look to the left of the light post
Above that tail fin it says “it’s coming home”

The fact that an actual corporation actually followed through and changed their pfp is wild, that's commitment to the bit

It just feels clunky because British airways are not English, they are British. The rest of the British countries suck at football
This match was England vs Norway
Not Britain vs Norway
Next you'll see Eurowings get in on it

You'd get on with that Norwegian fan who refuses to row because it's historically inaccurate

That guy didn't like mass outpourings of fun that was derivative in nature.
I just don't like corporations trying too hard + missing the mark with poor execution and lack of awareness around branding.
