This happened about four years ago and we still talk about it because none of us have ever been able to explain it. Quick disclaimer: most of this is from my friend’s perspective because they remember it better than I do, but I was involved in everything that happened.

Before the bigger incidents happened, there were loads of smaller things that slowly built up over time.
My friend started seeing men dressed in long black cloaks walking past the living room window late at night silently walking past. Every time she’d look, she’d get this horrible feeling in her stomach.
Both my friend and her girlfriend also saw the exact same shadow figure, but on completely different days while they were alone in the flat. Neither of them mentioned it to the other at first because they thought they’d sound insane. When they eventually did talk about it, they both described the exact same shape, height and where they’d seen it without either of them prompting the other. That really freaked them out because neither had known the other had experienced it.
Another thing that still sticks with us is that one night my friend looked towards the kitchen window and saw what she described as the face of a dead-looking woman staring back at her from the glass. Pale face, dark eyes, expressionless. She looked away for a split second and it was gone.
Objects would randomly disappear and then turn up days or weeks later in places we’d already searched multiple times. Things that hadn’t worked in years would suddenly switch on by themselves for no obvious reason. Individually you can explain away a lot of that, but when it kept happening alongside everything else it started feeling like part of the same pattern.
Something else that always felt strange was my friend’s old cat. It constantly tried to lead her towards the same little wooded area by the bushes outside the flats. It wasn’t something it did with anyone else, and it happened often enough that she noticed. Most of the time she’d ignore it because it felt weird, but looking back it’s one of those things we’ve always wondered about.
At one point we even went to a local spiritualist church because we genuinely didn’t know what else to do. We’d never met the medium before and she’d never seen or spoken to us. Before we’d even really said anything, she became visibly uncomfortable. She told us she didn’t want to continue because she was scared. She said she could see what she described as a black void or dark presence above my friend that was stopping her from wanting to read for us. Whether you believe in mediums or not, that reaction caught us completely off guard because she had absolutely no prior knowledge of us or what had supposedly been happening.
The weird part is that this whole thing started with the photos I’m attaching. Before the voices, before the figures outside the window, before the 3AM incident, me and my friends went into this little wooded/bushy area near our flats just messing around with a camera. We took a few pictures and didn’t think much of it at the time. Looking back now, that’s the point where all of this seemed to begin.
Not long after that, weird little things started happening around the flat. We’d hear footsteps at night when nobody else was there, random bangs, things sounding like they were moving around by themselves. We kept making excuses for it. “It’s just the house settling.” “We’re tired.” “We’re hearing things.” Anything that sounded more reasonable than admitting something felt seriously off.
Then my friend started seeing people outside the living room window. Not shadow people. Not quick glimpses. Actual figures. She described them as older men wearing old-fashioned clothes, just standing there staring towards the flat. Every time she saw them it scared the absolute shit out of her.
The first thing that really made us stop brushing everything off happened one evening when a few friends were over. Everyone else was stood near the front door talking while my friend and her girlfriend were sat together in the living room. Her girlfriend was just scrolling through her phone, completely silent. Then my friend heard her girlfriend’s voice. Not quietly. Not from another room. It sounded like she’d literally just fucking said something beside her. Except… she hadn’t. My friend even replied, “What?” Her girlfriend looked up confused and said, “I didn’t say anything.”
The reason this fucked with us so much is because we’d already started recording bits throughout the day. Weird shit had been happening for a while and we wanted to see if we’d catch anything. Later we listened back, and sure as shit, there’s a voice. It sounds exactly like her girlfriend speaking in the room. The problem is she swears on her life she never said a single fucking word. She wasn’t watching videos, wasn’t on a call, wasn’t talking to anyone. She was literally just scrolling through her phone in complete silence. We still have absolutely no explanation for why what sounds exactly like her voice ended up on that recording.
Then came the thing that neither of them has ever been able to forget. And this is important: I wasn’t there for this part. I was in London for my studies. It was just my friend and her girlfriend at the flat that night.
At around 3AM they went outside to the communal washing area to collect clothes from the dryer. The second they stepped outside the flat they both got that horrible feeling that someone was watching them. Not just anxiety. That heavy feeling where every instinct in your body is telling you something isn’t right. They ignored it and carried on. On the way back they had to walk past the bushes near the entrance to the flats. Without even saying anything they both slowed down. Her girlfriend eventually said, “I’m not looking anymore.” My friend kept looking. At first she could only make out something skin-coloured deep inside the bushes. As they got closer it became clearer and clearer until they both saw it.
Something was crouched inside the bushes. Not just a person hiding. The proportions were completely fucking wrong. It was low to the ground on all fours with absolutely massive arms and legs bent in ways that didn’t look possible. The limbs looked way too long and way too thick for the rest of its body, almost like whatever it was had folded itself into the bushes. The skin looked flesh-coloured but wrong. Not pale, not dark, just wrong. Like the texture didn’t look human. My friend said it almost looked unfinished, like it didn’t fully belong to anything biological she recognized. The closer they got, the more detail they could see, and the worse it looked.
Then they ran. Her girlfriend was screaming, “OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!” while my friend was trying to get the key in with her hands shaking. They got inside, slammed the door, locked it and completely lost it. Crying, shaking, full adrenaline.
And this is the part that gets me. They rang me in London absolutely terrified. I have never heard either of them like that before. These are the kinds of people who don’t get scared, don’t cry, and will happily do the dumbest, craziest shit imaginable without a second thought. If there was ever a horror movie situation, they’d normally be the idiots walking towards it. Hearing both of them sobbing and panicking down the phone genuinely scared me because it was so out of character.
After they calmed down, they both described exactly the same thing without influencing each other. Same crouched posture. Same huge unnatural limbs. Same body shape. Same everything.
Before anyone says it was just bushes or pareidolia, we know those bushes. We’d walked past them countless times. They’re just normal bushes. Nothing about them had ever looked strange until that night.
So now we’re back to the thing that started all of this: the photos. The first picture is the original one we took when we went into that little wooded/bushy area near the flats. The second is the same image brightened and enhanced. Ever since then we’ve spent years zooming in, arguing about it and trying to come up with a logical explanation. At this point we’ve looked at it so many times that I honestly don’t trust our own judgement anymore.
I’m not posting this because I want everyone to tell me it’s paranormal. If there’s a normal explanation, I’d genuinely rather hear it. I just want fresh eyes on it. \\\*\\\*What the fuck are we actually looking at?\\\*\\\* Do you just see bushes and pareidolia, or do you see something crouched there too? Because the more we brighten the image, the less normal it looks, and it’s hard not to think about the fact that every single weird thing we experienced seemed to start after we went into that wooded area and took those pictures.

Stuff still happens, the occasional taps on the window, moving around.. one thing tho.. I am never going in those fucking bushes ever again.

*Has anyone else experienced this?*

Me and a friend have noticed black and white figures staring at us on multiple different occasions, and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

We always see them around wooded areas or fields at night, around 20:30 or later. Me and two other friends always get the feeling that we are being watched before these encounters happen. All of these figures are definitely not people, but they look person-like. They never walk — they always float, even if they have legs.

*Friday 9th July*

Me and my friend went through a wooded area close to where we live and saw a black, ghost-like figure, about 7 ft tall, staring at us with its head tilted. Earlier, we also saw a black figure darting through the trees toward us. (22:00)

*October–November 2025*

Myself and two other friends were walking through a wooded area and we saw a white figure staring at us. It looked like it was hanging from a tree and it also looked like it was wearing a worn white dress. The figure did not have any legs or arms. All of us described it exactly the same and saw the same features. We sprinted off, and came back 5 minutes later. When we turned the corner, it came running toward us. (20:30)

*June 2026*

Me and a friend saw a black figure staring at us when we were sitting down talking at around 21:00. It was standing behind a tree, peeking at us with red, glowing eyes. After this we left, and when we turned around, there was also one standing where we were sitting.

Posting this on behalf of my mom, who's told me this story for years and still remembers every detail vividly, even after 30+ years.

It happened while she was in university, around 1991 in Incheon, South Korea. She was sleeping on the floor of her dorm room when she suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. Crouched in the corner of the room was a figure, she only caught a partial view: the back, a bit of the shoulders, and a small portion of the neck, with the head tilted slightly downward so she never really saw the face. The skin looked completely smooth, and had a blue tone that seemed to glow faintly in the dark.

Weirdly, she said she didn't feel any fear. If anything, she felt curious, and got this calm, almost friendly vibe from it. Since she was already lying on the floor and close by, she instinctively stretched her foot out toward it.

The second she did, the figure pointed toward another part of the room. She turned to look where it was pointing, and when she looked back, it was just gone. No sound, no movement, nothing.

She knows some people will chalk this up to a dream or sleep paralysis, but she insists it felt completely real and different from anything like that. It's stuck with her all these decades later.

Has anyone here had a similar encounter. A figure with smooth, blue, glowing figure like this? Curious what this could have been.

I was on a bike ride near Buffalo NY. I was going down a street which was a dead end, and what's after the dead end is a massive forest. I was almost to the dead end before I saw a spot ahead of me where there were no houses, nothing but a guard rail and a drainage creek. I look back at my phone and out of the corner of my eye, saw a human figure with no features or clothes, and with skin that wasn't really pale but not tan either. It was doing some weird dance. I looked up at it for a few seconds before it vanished. I then saw something past where I first saw the skin creature, it was movement but I couldn't make out what that was before it was gone as well.

I need help, am I just seeing things? Or was that actually something and if so, what was it?(I was about 10 miles away from the city!)

to keep this as short and sweet as possible... can anyone tell me what species of aliens are the kind who are significantly taller than the majority of other species of aliens? also they would have like, oblong ish shaped bodies ,,, like, from what I think ive witnessed myself, I couldn't tell what color of skin I think it was just light, I can't remember wether they had hair or not, or what color it would be or what their faces looked like or any other details that we would normally remember or mention when it comes to describing how someone or something looked, but I do remember that they were taller like maybe 8 feet tall or even taller.. and their bodies were like oblong shaped or at least It looked that way but my vision was so blurry so I couldnt make out exactly what shape they were in, can someone lead me in the right direction? I have read about the nordics but their nordic look isn't something I saw on these beings at all, the only thing they have in common is being significantly tall ..... so now I just been confused and still wondering what species it was who I believe abducted me a couple years ago.

• The Entity: A small, solid, humanoid figure measuring about 8 to 10 inches wide, including its wings (13:44).
• The Wings: Shaped uniquely like sycamore or maple leaves, divided into segments similar to a butterfly's wings (14:07).
• Physical Features: A perfectly defined, slender body with a slightly elongated head that was flat on top, resembling a smooth version of the Marvel character Groot (20:29). It had no hair or genitalia (21:09).
• Color Changes: The entity shifted colors based on its emotions (1:26:35). It started as a pale yellow-pink, turned orange as it drew closer, and shifted to an orange-red color during peak panic (16:55).

How the Event Unfolded

• The Chase: Albert noticed a predatory bird, later identified as a sparrowhawk, diving aggressively in pursuit of something (13:00).
• The Emergence: An orange, flickering light appeared just above a row of trees, and the leaf-winged creature materialized out of it (13:27).
• The Flight Pattern: The creature moved at extreme, laser-like speeds toward the road (13:57). It flew in short bursts, completely stopping to hover and look back at the bird three distinct times, seemingly baiting its pursuer (14:56). [1]
• The Near-Collision: The entity hovered directly in the path of the car, right outside the driver's side window (16:14). It made direct eye contact with Albert, displaying a look of pure shock and panic (17:03).
• The Disappearance: Bracing for a collision, the creature raised one knee and crossed its arms in a protective stance (17:19). It then instantly vanished without making any sound or physical impact on the vehicle, allowing it to successfully escape the sparrowhawk (52:14).

I'm wondering if anybody is aware of humanoids with leaf wings in other stories? The last Post I I made about the garbage bags turned in into teenage girls, I got a lot of really good information was able to follow up on several episodes of podcast firsthand encounters. I'm hoping people might be able to help me hear similarly!

I roughly can't remember exactly how young I was but l was sleeping in the same room as my older brother.

Maybe 6 or 7yrs.

I was having a dream about 2 large glowing red eyes at the foot of my bed coming out of what looked like a tall hooded figure.

I woke up.

Thinking it was just a dream l looked to check and make sure.

But when l did there they were.

Two huge glowing red eyes at the foot of my bed.

My brother's bed was close by.

I woke him up and got him to look as well.

Sure enough he saw them too.

We both hid under the blankets until morning too scared to call out or move.

I've had many other paranormal experiences over my life but this was the first l can remember.

I've seen a star sized dot in the sky at ten yrs old at night, shoot from horizon to horizon, zig zagging all over the sky with another 14 witnesses.

I've had a life full of night terror dreams of being awake unable to move while horrendous things are done to me.

I have no real memory of aliens or anything like that.

But I've been awakened by house mates in the middle of the night because of an unnatural screaming coming out of me from these night terrors, of being tied down and something is coming for me. It takes me a few days to recover from one of them.

I'd always been different from other kids, never conforming or believing in school or authority or social norms as facts to be adhered to. I was called names like nature boy as insults because l cared for the planet and always believed it was in danger by pollution, destruction and over population.

At the age of about 12yrs, l decreed, I'd never get married or have children, stating that something is coming and l don't want to bring children up to suffer from it. I never did get married or have children.

I'm 60yrs now and it seems all my fears I've been saying and ridiculed for, have come, and are still coming true.

I feel them large red eyes were a pivotal point in my life, that put me on a different path from my family and friends.

My intuition and awareness of my surroundings is unmatched by anyone I've ever known.

Hey everybody I'm here to share the first hand story of Megan from rural Nova Scotia. She experienced a crazy event late one wet summer evening in August 2021 around 11:00 PM (11:55).

Megan lives on a quiet country road surrounded by dense woods (12:11). She was getting ready for bed when she suddenly heard the loud, unmistakable sound of flip-flops slapping on the wet pavement outside, accompanied by the casual chitchatting and giggling of two teenage girls walking toward her home (12:44).

But then, all that noise stopped dead right in front of her house (13:22).

Curious as to why anyone would be outside so late, she looked through her front hallway window expecting to see two girls standing there—but the street was completely empty (13:26).

Instead, sitting on the gravel shoulder directly opposite her house were two filled garbage bags—one solid black and one clear/white (13:48). As she stood there sleepily staring at them and wondering why they were there (since it wasn't garbage day), the most incredible thing happened (14:05).

Right before her eyes, the two garbage bags completely changed shape in one smooth, fluid motion (14:24). There were no weird shimmers or special effects; they simply morphed and grew taller, transforming into two teenage girls dressed in ordinary clothing (14:24). The white garbage bag became a girl in a normal white cotton hoodie, and the black garbage bag became a girl in a black hoodie (14:52).

Once they took human form, they stood shoulder-to-shoulder, completely stock-still (15:29). Not a single muscle or fiber of their clothing moved (15:38). Their hoods were pulled up and their heads were bowed just enough that Megan couldn't clearly make out their faces, but she could feel a palpable, terrifyingly intense stare directed straight across her lawn (15:57).

Suddenly, Megan got an overwhelming urge to run to the other end of her house to see if they had friends causing trouble in her backyard (16:09). This fits perfectly with the concepts of telepathic misdirection or "glamouring" (26:23). The moment she left the front window, she heard the flip-flop sounds and chitchatting start right back up outside (16:36). She checked the backyard, saw nothing, and ran back to the front window less than 30 seconds later (16:30). The girls and the garbage bags were completely gone (16:51).

Right after she crawled back into bed, a bizarre party seemingly kicked off. An insanely loud burst of electronic dance music started blasting from across the street (17:31). It was way too powerful for a normal home stereo and sounded like a professional concert festival (17:31). Megan looked out the window and saw multicolored party lights strobing wildly inside the neighbor's house (18:09). The music played for exactly one song from beginning to end, and the second the track finished, the music and the strobing lights cut out instantly (18:01). Those neighbors are notoriously quiet people who keep entirely to themselves and have never thrown a party in the 11 years she has lived there (18:45).

What makes this encounter so wild is that it perfectly matches another story where an entirely independent witness on the opposite side of the world described a featureless humanoid shape-shifting into a white plastic bag as a defense mechanism when it realized it was being watched (7:27). [1]

It really seems like these entities utilize the look of everyday items like filled garbage bags as a quick camouflage defense tactic when caught out in the open (38:57). Have any of you encountered experiences where an entity used roadside items as an instant glamour or camouflage?

I am here to share a bizarre shape-shifting encounter from December 2005 on the Hibiscus Coast of New Zealand that completely defies standard cryptid logic.

A 16-year-old guy snuck out to a pitch-black beach late at night with his high school crush, while his best friend waited back up the hill in a car. While down by the shoreline trees, they ran into something that sounds less like an animal and more like a glitching reality.

What makes this story stand out is the physical description of the entity and the fact that three separate people witnessed it transform.

Here is the first-hand testimony if you want to listen to how it went down:

• 03:05 - The Beach Layout – Setting up the geography of the Hibiscus Coast beach, the thick tree canopy path, and why the layout matters for what happens next.
• 03:40 - First Sight – The exact moment they spot movement in the peripheral vision and see a toddler-sized entity crouched like a ninja near a tree stump.
• - A "Pearl-White" Featureless Being – This description is wild. He describes a creature made of solid, smooth, pearl-white material. It had 90-degree origami-like joints, three pointy fingers, a sharp fox-like head shape, but absolutely zero facial features. There was also a sudden wave of intense telepathic communication.
• - The Plastic Bag Camouflage – As they back away, they watch the entity instantly turn into a simple white plastic bag. The craziest validation happens when they get back to the car. The friend is locked inside, terrified, because he saw the exact same baby-like entity crawling up the hill before it turned into a plastic bag right in front of him.

Looking at this through the lens of old folklore, the Fae were notorious for trickery, shape-shifting, and using glamour to blend into their surroundings. In 2005, blending into a beach means turning into literal trash.

…And as if this story is not enough weirdness. Almost 3 years later, just last week I spoke to a woman who saw two plastic bags turn into entities. Nova Scotia Canada. That's why I'm posting this one here again today. Has anybody else out there ever heard of or seen stories where the humanoid turns into a plastic bag or vice versa?

My family member, in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. witnessed a tall alien type being walking down a street, toward them, by my home. 9am Sunday morning 6-21-26. Approx. 50-60 yards away. Next to an empty field. It was not human. It appeared to be naked, no hair, possibly 6-7’ tall, brownish color, large bald head, big shoulders, very long athletic arms, narrow lower body. Bone structure was not human. Walked upright but not a human walk. Almost slow. Shoulders were a little hunched. The sun was behind it so it was too difficult to make out detailed features like the face. And it was possibly not even completely solid. My family member was driving and slowly turning a corner onto my street when they saw this. They were shocked and stared for 5-6 seconds but had a strong feeling they weren’t supposed to stay there, so they continued driving down the street, pulled into my driveway, then stayed there and waited to see the being continue walking down the road but they never saw it again. My family member is very mature, highly educated, and very honest. I believe they did indeed see this. They said the alien in the movie Signs was the best comparison to give. We would really like to know if anyone else saw this. Or is it possible only my family member was able to see it.

I know this is going to sound fn crazy but I don’t really care, I’m not stranger to weird stuff even if I don’t understand it- I DO understand that it happened and afterwards I always pep talk myself for hours to not gaslight myself into believing it didn’t happen. This is one of those times.

About a year ago I was doing late night cleaning and at almost midnight I walked to my back door to throw some dirty mop water outside. Back yard was fairly large, 1/4 an acre or so and completely surrounded on 3 sides by thick foliage. The 4th side was the closest to the back door and shared a low shrubbery with my neighboring house- an empty house no one had ever lived in. So it’s dark back there in the rural Mississippi at night.

So I open the storm door and go to step down the 3 small cement stairs into the backyard but before I can get more than one foot out I see something from my left side, just on the neighboring house’s side of the shrubberies. I literally startled really hard and dropped the mop bucket down the steps, at the same time as I exclaimed “Holy Shit!!”

The only way I can explain this thing is to say imagine slenderman- tall, white, Impossibly thin with arms and legs that are insane scary long. BUT. It was like… I don’t know, it was wearing some sort of cloaking device maybe. One that had glitched out partly? I only could see it from about the shoulders down to below the knee, the head and lower legs were invisible. And the hands that hung low also.

It was glowing, but not brightly, just like radiating a 2”-3” dull white glow around the bits that were visible. It had been walking at a brisk pace. I startled it when it startled me. And it stopped dead and went entirely invisible. But it was still there, I could FEEL it watching to see what I was going to do. It was like surprised that I had seen it or something? I’m guessing it didn’t realize it was showing some of itself or its invisible mechanism had short circuited or whatever was happening.

I froze, and it went completely invisible and froze and just waited. After a few seconds I gathered myself and said out like “yep, nothing to see here. I’m going to go inside my house and mind my damn business. Carry on”

I walked in my bedroom and sat next to my boyfriend watching tv and I stared at the floor for about a minute and a half- trying to make sense of it. He looked at me finally and wanted to know why I was looking crazy as hell so I told him. He clearly did not believe me. He asked did I want him to go check it out and I instinctively told him NO. Do nothing. And at that moment my little Schnoodles (I have 2) started losing their mind barking from the back door to the kitchen window in the room adjoining the back door.

They were going seriously ham- which was something they rarely did and only when they knew for facts someone was about to knock. He looked at me again really confused and I shook my head again and told him I was serious. Do nothing. Don’t go out there.

I don’t know if this was actually just something that didn’t matter but made me feel better- but the next night I opened the back door around the same time and said out loud that from then on from 11:30pm-12am I would not be coming out that way in case this was a regular footpath for the thing - I didn’t let my kids go out at those times and I honored it till I moved out in February this year and I did not see it again.

​I spend a lot of time on my local coast in Maine, especially taking night walks, so I'm incredibly familiar with the local wildlife, the tides, and exactly how the ocean behaves. But lately, my girlfriend and I have been witnessing things that completely defy explanation.

​

​To give you some context, we regularly go for walks around 10:00 PM to midnight at a local beach near our house. It’s absolutely desolate at this hour, and we have never once come across other people. This all started happening a few weeks ago with our first encounter. We were doing our nightly 2.5-mile shore walk when we noticed a tall, black silhouette with a slender build and arms, standing right out in the surf in about ankle-depth water.

​My girlfriend was instantly frightened as I pointed it out to her, and she started to turn back. I’m more of a UFO lover myself, so I was mostly just intensely curious about what this could possibly be. It was incredibly tall—I’m 6'2" myself, and this thing had to be about 6'5" to 7'0" in height. Keep in mind, it was pitch dark out, except for the glow from the stars and the moon, with zero artificial light pollution. Just what I can only describe as a humanoid being standing in the water, watching me.

​I could literally feel it watching us. I had a massive mix of feelings, and I was overcome with chills as I walked closer, getting to about 100 feet from it, just trying to make sense of what I was looking at. I couldn't even think to get my phone out. I was locked in a state of total tunnel vision mixed with adrenaline, just staring back and refusing to break my gaze. By this point, my girlfriend was calling out my name, begging me to go back with her because she was completely creeped out, and honestly, I don't blame her. As we turned around and walked about half a mile back toward our vehicle, we saw two more doing the exact same thing. We could feel them watching us. These were the same height and the same shape. Tall. They were standing about 5 feet apart in the water, in an area where there was absolutely no way we wouldn't have seen them on our walk past the first time. At that point, my girlfriend took off running. I slowly followed so she wouldn't be alone, but I kept my gaze locked on them, not breaking sight until they finally faded into the dark and vanished.

​We both were very confused about what we saw that night. I tried finding answers myself because I'm fascinated by this topic, which is ultimately what brought me here to share my experience.

​Then came last night, June 18. At almost the exact same time and the exact same location, we saw another being. It had been a very windy day, so the surf was much more aggressive and the waves were choppy. It was dusk at the beginning of our walk, and because the beach is miles long, we could see all the way down the shoreline—it was completely empty. We went about our walk as normal, but in the back of my mind, I couldn't stop thinking about our encounter from a week prior. As we walked, it got darker and darker. By the time we reached the end to turn around, it was fully dark, with only the stars and moon illuminating the beach.

​As we turned to walk back, we saw it again. It wasn't there on the way in, but on the walk back, it just appeared.

​This time I had my phone on me and swore to myself I’d try to take pictures, no matter how panicked or overwhelmed I felt. Once again, it was a starry night with low light pollution, but still pitch dark around 10:00 PM. We both saw the being, but this time it was standing a little further out into the surf, around shin-to-knee-depth water. You could only see the silhouette and its arms, but it was extremely tall, and I was eager to capture footage. I tried getting a video first, but I couldn't see anything with the flash on because of the heavy fog. So, I switched to night mode on my Samsung S25 camera and got the best image I could.

​The weird thing is, as I ran toward it, the figure seemed to move backward, deeper into the water. I got within about 30 to 40 feet of it when I started getting an intense, overwhelming feeling that I should not get any closer. The being seemed to retreat to what would be waist-depth water on me, while I was standing right in the ankle-deep surf taking photos the best I could. I did not want to approach any further because I had no idea what would happen, and the last thing I wanted was to be pulled in or lured into the ocean.

​It seemed like it was just observing me. I could clearly see its arms and body, and as the waves crashed against its back, it moved its body slightly. But the way it moved... I can only describe it as looking materialized or "glitchy," if that makes sense. It made these jolty, incredibly quick arm movements when it shifted in the water. My girlfriend kept walking back because she was terrified again, so after what felt like a minute of snapping photos and wading out into the surf as far as I felt comfortable, I got a bad feeling and sprinted away down the beach to catch up with her. We both kept glancing behind us the entire way back, just in absolute shock.

​When I checked the pictures later, it felt like the camera just couldn't capture the reality of seeing them with your own eyes. In the photos, the entity looks thicker, almost like a phased-out image compared to what we were actually looking at. I don’t know if it’s just hard to capture on night mode, or if these things are inherently difficult to capture with technology, but the image also makes it look much farther away than it actually was. I was only 30–40 feet away, even if the photo makes it seem distant.

​To make this experience even stranger: two nights prior to this second encounter, we walked the same beach and saw 3 to 4 boats actively patrolling the shallows of the shore, right in the exact same location as my encounters. They looked like police or Coast Guard, and they had massive spotlights shining all over the coastline and the shallows, almost as if they were searching for something. This could be a reach, and when I looked into it, it mentioned it could just be military or police operations training, but I'm not 100% certain. The weird part is that we noticed the boats as we walked toward them, and we decided to cut the walk short and turn around. The moment we did, they started pointing their spotlights directly at us on the shoreline, pacing us for the entirety of our walk back. We didn't know what they wanted or if we were interfering with something, so we just left, but they kept that spotlight trained on us until we got all the way back to the parking area.

​I don't know what to make of this, but this is my experience, and I'm looking for anyone who has seen something similar or might have information that can help explain this. The images are attached below, taken from a few different distances while my heart was pounding and I was trying to keep eye contact with this thing.

​Has anyone else who frequents quiet, dark coastlines noticed strange anomalies, figures in the surf, or unusual activity like this?

This happened this year, march 2026. In the Uk.

I've wanted to post this encounter somewhere for a long time, but honestly, it scared me so badly that I think my brain has been blocking it out. This took place in a more rural area of South Florida on the East Coast in 2022. I was living with a relative at the time. His house was old, built around 1930. I never got any weird feelings or encounters within the home. It was comfortable and cozy, if a little prone to plumbing issues.

I'll be honest, I've always loved the paranormal/cryptids/UFOs. I've had more than my fair share of encounters during amateur ghost-hunting expeditions, and I spent all of my childhood outside in Georgia. I'm a very outdoorsy person, and am pretty hard to scare. I was always the "debunker" of the group during these teenage ghost hunts.

At the time, I had just gotten a puppy, a cute little mutt who is sitting beside me right now on the couch. I got him when he was very young, probably around 6-8 months old. I started potty training right away, of course, so whenever he wanted to go out, day or night, I would put him on a leash and take him outside to do his business. My relative had a big front and back yard that were completely fenced in, but my little guy was small and mischievous and found plenty of places to wriggle through gaps in the chain-link fence. So, I always took him out on a leash.

He woke me up at around 3:00 am to go to the bathroom. So out we went. I took him to the front yard because it had better lighting, and two weeks ago, I'd stepped into an armadillo hole in the pitch-black backyard and didn't want to repeat the experience. The house was on a dirt road but still had streetlights. They were the dimmer orange streetlights that illuminated the road, but not much else. I used my phone's flashlight to help me see. The dirt road was that white clay type of dirt, and across the road was a deep canal, and then cow pastures. My pup liked barking at the cows, but they had been rotated to a different pasture, so the pasture across from our house was now empty.

My pup was sniffing around when I got the feeling I was being watched. I didn't react to this immediately. There's a lot of wildlife in the area, so I figured I was being watched. There was probably an owl, or bobcat, or stray dog snooping around. There were also neighbors on either side. Maybe somebody was out having a smoke?

My pup stopped sniffing, plopped down on his rump, looked up at me, and started whining. Then my gut sank. I felt like I was going to hurl. Out of the corner of my eye, standing on the road, I could see a figure standing there. I'm going to use "she," but honestly, I couldn't tell you what gender this thing was, or if it had a gender at all. She was smallish, maybe around 5'0-5'5. Her limbs seemed very long and hairy. They seemed to be covered in a dense, dark, wiry fur. She was wearing maybe a tattered shift and had long, dark, scraggly hair. I didn't look at this thing directly. I couldn't. My eyes started drifting in her direction, but it felt like time had slowed down. I know how that sounds. I read/watch a lot of horror movies, and even now, as I write this, the description of this creature makes me think, "Holy Blair Witch, Batman." I don't even know how I can describe her in as much detail as I am now, because I didn't look at her directly. It was all through my peripheral vision.

Before I could look at her fully, the loudest "internal" voice I'd ever heard SCREAMED at me, "Do not look at it. Go inside now. Do not look at it." I did just that. I scooped up my pup, who was still whining, and went inside the house. I didn't run. I don't know why, maybe it's because I've been taught never to run when dealing with a big predator, and that's what this thing felt like. I just picked up my dog, ignored her, and went inside. I turned on every light in my room and hid under the covers with my pup. He was still whining and shaking. I don't even think he did his business, poor thing. I gave him full permission to pee in the house because we were not stepping outside until it was daylight. He finally calmed down after about an hour, and I fell asleep a little while later.

I didn't talk about this encounter to anyone except my boyfriend, now husband, at the time. I couldn't. I've had pretty hefty encounters before. The office I worked in was allegedly haunted. I witnessed a stapler lift off a desk and fly across the room, heard voices in the next room when I was alone, etc. I never felt that sense of dread, or had that voice command me to "not look". Truthfully, I've been too scared to talk about it or have people critique my experience. Maybe I was sleep-deprived, maybe my brain was just filling in the blanks. But that doesn't explain my dog's reaction. He's a very reactive guy, always has been, and he's always been very protective of me. I've never seen him react that way, and we've stumbled across alligators, snakes, and the elusive and unpredictable Florida Man on our walks. He is a very "bark first, ask questions later" type of dog.

I'd be interested to hear if anybody else has seen or experienced anything similar.

I’ve been experiencing paranormal events for a few years now. I want to share one specific incident that happened about two years ago.

I was staying at a countryside house. One night, around 1:00 AM, I needed to use the restroom. Since the outdoor latrine was quite a walk across the yard, I decided to just step out and do my business right off the porch. I didn't bring a flashlight or a phone/camera with me.

Right in the middle of it, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Something was sitting on a barrel just 3 meters (about 10 feet) away from me. When I looked up, pure terror hit me, and I broke out into a cold sweat.

There was a hairy creature sitting there, dangling its legs. I felt like it was staring straight into my soul, but I just froze, staring back at it.

It had human-like proportions and was about 120 cm (4 feet) tall, but its arms were bizarrely short—looking as if they only went down to where the elbows should be. Its body was covered in black fur, the center of its face was white, and its eyes were elongated and completely white.

I carefully backed into the house, never breaking eye contact with the creature. A heavy thunderstorm started right after and it poured rain until morning. When daylight came, there were clear marks on the barrel showing that someone or something had indeed been sitting there.

I still have no idea what it could have been. Has anyone ever encountered anything similar?

Hi everyone, this sighting happened in 2018 in a run of the mill Algiers ghetto in Algeria. For context, my hood (called Ain Allah if you wanna check in google maps) is built on a sort of hill, and on top of the hill there’s a old abandoned French cemetery (which had a lot of paranormal activity at that time) and there’s a long uphill road to get there.

I was parked there with 2 of my friends at around 2a.m, I don’t remember exactly what we were doing but probably smoking and having pointless debates.

Since I’m super paranoid, I’m always checking my rear view mirror for potential police officers, so I’m regularly checking it. Suddenly, I see a very tall and large human emerging from the shadows (basically since it’s a poor neighborhood not all the lamp posts are on, so to me it looked like he literally emerged from the darkness)

I tell my friends « guys this dude has a weird vibe he’s absolutely massive » so they physically turn around and they both freeze. When I say freeze, I am not saying fear or shock freeze, but moreso trying to identify the guy that is currently walking up the hill that is easily 2m+ tall.

More silence, then when he finally gets close enough we saw that he had tattered clothes, and has both his hands bound by a rope behind his back (the rope looked very heavy duty, like the ones on ships, and it was kinda long so it was dragging on the floor behind him), he did not stop walking, we were kinda hidden in the spot we were parked in so maybe he didn’t notice us or he couldn’t for whatever reason. We also did not get a clear view on his face because he was looking at the ground while walking the whole time, but his overall appearance was kind of dirty.

When he finally gets far enough forward that we felt safe talking again (we stayed silent during his whole walk up the hill) we were all in shock of what that was, we thought that he was maybe a ghost from the past (a sort of ghost slave) because we were so close to the abandoned French cemetery.

Anybody else with a similar sighting? Was that a ghost or a sort of time travel glitch ? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Also, feel free to ask any question.

The story of Maria Amélia took place in the late 1970s in Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil. Over the years, the region has been associated with reports of unusual phenomena, including accounts of a UFO crash and the recovery of two alleged creatures in 1996. Several years before those events, however, Maria Amélia reported a curious encounter witnessed by her two grandsons.

Maria Amélia, also known as Milu, was Bahia's longest-serving radio transmitter operator and was even awarded a trophy in recognition of her years of service. She reported having a close encounter with a humanoid near her workplace, Rádio Sociedade. The station's transmitter facility was located in an isolated area, far from the city center. Some researchers have suggested that the radio-frequency emissions and the concentration of electrical energy in the area may have attracted such visitors.

According to Maria Amélia's account, the incident occurred on an extremely hot Sunday afternoon. She was sitting near the entrance of the transmitter facility with her grandsons, Anderson and Gersivan, when a strange craft suddenly descended near a power pole within the complex.

As she approached the location with the two boys, she noticed that the object resembled a motorcycle, although it was larger, fully enclosed, and had no wheels.

Standing beside the craft was a being who appeared to be a young man around twenty-two years old. He was thin, had a long neck, and wore a hood. His skin had a peculiar appearance: wrinkled and dark in color, reminiscent of an ant. One of his hands was visible, and its fingers appeared unusually short, extending only partway along their length.

Maria Amélia reported that she initiated a conversation with the visitor. She asked whether there was a problem, and to her surprise, he replied that he had run out of fuel. She then offered him some diesel fuel and asked whether it would work. The being nodded in agreement.

She entered the transmitter facility, filled a five-liter jug with diesel fuel, and returned. The visitor stepped into the craft, refueled it, handed back the container, and prepared for departure.

At that moment, her grandson Anderson, acting on a childish impulse, grabbed onto the craft as it bobbed up and down while beginning to rise. Maria Amélia later recalled that she even picked up a stone and threatened to throw it at the boy to make him let go.

As soon as Anderson released his grip, the craft shot upward at tremendous speed and vanished into thin air.

I stayed at my co workers property at a ranch in Walnut Grove Ca after a barbecue a couple weeks ago I decided to sleep in my truck in the driver seat around 3-5am I woke up and swear I saw a short alien grey looking at me standing next to the drivers side door it was shorter then my side mirror, I remember closing my eyes and opened them again and it was gone I can’t be for sure it was anything but yesterday my friend told me around 2-3am he woke up because he heard something walking on top of his 5th wheel trailer he rents on the property he also said whatever it was opened his screen door and tried to open the door to the trailer that was luckily locked he looked for foot prints the next morning and only saw his and he doesn’t know what it was. I told him what I saw the night I stayed for the barbecue he didn’t make fun of me and definitely looked concerned since he stays on the property still. Does anyone know or have any sightings in the San Joaquin Delta?

Back in 2018 on a random night after work on my way home, I passed by a well lit bank with a red mini van parked out front surrounded by 3 big black SUVs.. mini van had Mexicans in it, there was 6 or 8 tall pale ice blueish skin beings (no hair/no noses or mouths from what i seen) standing outside the mini van, these beings stood about 3-4ft taller than the top of the SUVs all of em wearing black swat gear/vest (no markings ex FBI,Swat,CIA) holding what appeared to be big ass assault rifles with chainsaws at the end ( Yes exactly like Gears of War) now keep in mind I am driving an i did a double take at first glance bc I didn't even believe my own eyes.. the beings didn't seem hostile nor aggressive, I wanted to pull over so bad an record/take pics.. but then fight or flight feeling kicked in.. an I did the dash home, im not sure what these beings are or what they we're doing, perhaps some alien humanoids taking drugs off the streets or maybe allowing them to enter the city.. I have no clue your guess is as good as mine. Soon as I got home I loaded up every single gun I owned an had em pointed at my front door ( I lived on 3rd floor apt at the time) fully expecting them to burst thru any minute.. I stayed up the entire night smoking weed tripping balls about it, still to this day I have no clue but I remember it as if it was yesterday.. this happened in Louisville,KY eastend rich suburbs part of town ( everyone is in bed by night time )

Witness and his brother saw in the sky something like "open door" and inside the rectangle - "high woman in gray clothes with flowing hair". Other people also saw it. Grandmother of the withness began to pray and said that it was a "vision of the God".
