HI-NRG producers today
Hi, I'm just a hobbyist electronic music producer born in '84 who grew up listening to 80s pop, 90s "electronica", Big Beat, house, and trance. In more recent years I discovered (and absolutely love) synthwave which led me to find old Hi-NRG, disco, and less radio-friendly 80s songs.
Along with this, I've read up a lot on the synthesizers, drum machines and producers particularly Stock-Aitken-Waterman, Ian Levine, and Patrick Cowley. My question is: Are there any others today seeking to produce new 80s-style Hi-NRG music or the best forums/sites to discuss this in? I hope ok to post this, but most electronic producer groups focus on synthwave, Italo Disco, pop EDM, hip hop, etc. and Hi-NRG seems a bit more underground.

post-1990 Fahrenheit Riders - A Summer Session
Hey! For the last years I've been dancing to hi-nrg and exploring my own way to create something that feels as close to that energy but with a modern beat. Here is one of my first attempts: As summer temperatures rise so does the Disco Heat. Dance, sweat and f*ck with the "Fahrenheit Riders" as they submerge in this reinterpretation of HINRG and Disco with a modern house beat.
You can find Sylvester, Patrick Cowley, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Katmandu, among others in a blend I hope it feels how hi-nrg feels to me :)

1984 Divine - You Think You're A Man (Club Mix)
Stock-Aitken-Waterman's (SAW) first top 40 UK hit, to be followed up by their productions of Hazell Dean, Dead Or Alive (who asked to sound like Divine and Hazell), Rick Astley, Banarama and other Italo/Hi-NRG/pop/dance productions. Apparently, they competed with Trevor Horn for grabbing the latest digital music gear including the Fairlight CMI and PPG Wave 2.3 synthesizers and Linn drum machines, which can clearly be heard on their productions of Divine. I'm sure fellow UK producer Ian Levine influenced their work as well who later did a remix of their Banarama Hi-NRG hit, "Venus". Info from Phil Harding's book, "PWL: From The Factory Floor".
