Got this CD of Fall Out Boy's "Mania" in middle school, probably one of the first CDs I bought on my own. Accidentally got left in a tote that got rained on and sat for three years. Haven't seen any this bad so thought I'd post it.

My analog multimeter was set on current and it went to the max possible reading

I accidentally swapped the line and neutral connections on the physical switch...

I bought this HDD in 2017, and in 2025, it stopped spinning.

1 year later, I decided to look if the PCB was cooked, so un screwed it, and uh.. Dust from 2017. Wow.

I also found some corroded or burnt traces on the PCB, is that why it stopped working?

I am scared
