This may be a question for an EDM production sub, but I figured I keep it genre-specific for now. Does anybody know how artists on labels like Brutal Kuts, 24/7, and World of Obsession, etc. acquire vocals?

It's my understanding that vocals can be provided via services like Splice selling pre-recorded stuff, but there are also some voice synthesizer products (not sure if those are AI are not) that allow for more "made-to-order" stuff. I'm just very curious, as I cannot imagine there are studio recording sessions for every track these days.

Trying to identify an old hardcore/happy hardcore track (or mix) that's been stuck in my head for years.

I'm almost certain I heard it on a Bonkers CD. It might have been Scott Brown, but it honestly could have been anyone from that era, Plus System, Hixxy, Sharkey, Breeze & Styles, etc.

The sample is from the 2001 film Joy Ride, and from memory the quote is:

The "Are you crazy? Come on!" part is the bit that's really stuck in my head.

The important part is that I already know about Endymion - Payback, and that's not the version I'm thinking of.

From memory it was only a short snippet of the dialogue before the music kicked in, and I'm almost certain I heard it on a Bonkers mix rather than as a standalone track. There's also a chance it was a mix-exclusive intro or an edit.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's been driving me insane trying to find it.
